We rented two of the yurts, one for my wife and I and one for my son's family of six. The yurts were extremely comfortable and cozy. The price was also great because it was cheaper than a motel. The viewing from the yurts was spectacular as you have the cliffs on one side and the river on the other....

We used a tent site so there wasn't an electrical hookup. This Campground does not have running water although a water pump for water was available, Vault Toilet facilities was available. Excellent trails for walking & hiking. The Popo Agie River was right next to the campground so it drowned out any noise from neighboring sites which although close by,...

Far exceeded our expectations as we camped 20 feet from the Popo Agie river with our three teenaged kids. Very clean and super quiet. There is an easy hike which takes you across a river on a small suspension bridge. We photographed many flowers and nearly walked into a deer grazing.

Great quiet place to camp. 23 sites right on the river. Beautiful! They have 23 sites in Popo Agie Campground and getting a site wasn't an issue. Best sites are 19 and 23. Visitors center gives great information and trails give history on sinks canyon. Don't pass up this place!

There's a wonderful nature trail in the campground, Sinks Canyon is just a mile down the road. Ask the ranger at the Sinks Canyon Visitor Center to direct you to the nearby swimming...
