I cannot say enough good things about this ranch/lodge. I was there for 3 nights and 4 days this Oct 2015 and it was way to short a visit. This family run establishment is relaxing and friendly from the moment you drive up and meet the family dogs. The family themselves are warm and inviting and in 5 minutes you...

For 5 days and 4 nights my family and I were treated to a wonderful experience. Arriving for lunch on Tuesday we found out we were in for a treat with beef brisket on home made rolls for lunch. Even though my daughter is a vegetarian they made sure she had plenty to eat of the foods she enjoyed for...

This is my our 3rd time to Medicine Bow, and I'm disappointed it took us so long to go back. My husband and I love trying to do new things for vacation, but the beauty of Medicine Bow and the hospitality of Tim and Debbie Bishop keep us coming back. It has been 6 years since our last trip and...

We had a great weekend of horseback riding. The owners always made us feel like we were at home with great service and best food in town. The only down side is the lack of phone service. Wifi was available in the lodge.

My wife and I decided on a "dude ranch" style vacation for us and our two teen boys. This was a vacation like we had never experienced before and had no idea what to expect. In fact, none of us had ridden before. Needless to say, hours and hours of internet research left us with a huge pool of possibilities....

I experienced one of the most relaxing vacations at Medicine Bow Lodge. The owners, Tim and Debbie made me feel right at home. The cabin I stayed in was clean and the bed/pillows very comfortable. The food was delicious, I can't wait to purchase Debbie's cook book. All of the horses are great. I wish I could have brought "Stew"...

Our family had such an amazing vacation at the Medicine Bow Lodge. Our girls are 6 and 2 years old and they were in heaven. Even though the activities on the ranch are more suited for our oldest, the little one had fun playing with the resident dogs, exploring the authentic teepee, and splashing in the creek. The owner, Tim,...

This Lodge made us feel welcomed for real. We lived together with the owner, the staff and the other guests in the most balanced way. No stress, no worries, lots of time for the wild west nature and food made with love. Humming birds joined us for breakfast, exciting horses showed us everything we expected and things we from now...

Spent four days here for vacation and to celebrate an anniversary. Absolutely wonderful in every way. From the people to the accommodations to the scenery. Tim and Debbie are fantastic. The property is located right near a running stream at the base of a mountain. You couldn't paint a prettier picture. The horseback riding is easy and fun with some...

Tim took me out riding for the day on a lovely small (I am only short) paint pony who was forward going and responsive, a perfect choice for me. Tim conducts the ride to suit you and your ability. All very relaxed and convivial. It is a day I won't forget as we saw so much, wildlife, moose, elk, deer...
