If you like immaculate, sophisticated yet cozy, great breakfast and wonderful hosts... look no further!!!!! I have been traveling to Hilo for work for a long time now, and I stay at no other B&B. And I will share that I am a little OCD (not really but almost!) and this place is clean! They became like a home away...

On short notice during our stay on the Big Island my husband and I decided to visit Hilo for a night. He looked at some properties online and we called to see about availability. The Hilo Honu Inn was highly rated by other TripAdvisor users and they had space for us, so off we went. When we arrived about 7...

This was probably the finest and most unique bed and breakfast stay that we've had during our many years of travel. It was our first trip to The Big Island, or to anywhere in Hawaii. We had been at a resort hotel on the Kona Coast for 4 days, then spent our last 4 days of the trip at this...

We stayed at the Hilo Honu Inn for two nights in the Honu's nest while visiting the Hilo side of the big island. Gay and Billy were exceptionally helpful and friendly from the initial greeting to our departure, including making restaurant recommendations, providing driving directions, recommending places to see and creating wonderful fresh breakfasts. In addition, we spoke with them...

We came over to Hilo from a 7 day stay on Maui. Since we only had a couple days on the big island, we focused on the volcano. Bill and Gay suggested that we try Lava Roy since the lava was only visible from ~0.5 mile away on foot. Lava Roy was awesome, so this was good advice. We had...

We recently returned from 13 days in Oahu, Hilo, and the Kohala Coast for our honeymoon. We spent 5 evenings at the Hilo Honu Inn in the Honu's nest to explore the Hilo side of the Big Island (Volcanoes, Puna, Hilo, Botanical Gardens). Incredible experience from start to finish: SERVICE/HOSTS: When our flight arrived late into Hilo and possibly after...

Very lovely house, spacious and immaculate rooms, excellent food and warm and friendly hosts. One of the best B&Bs we've ever stayed at. Enthusiastic hosts will give you the lowdown on area sights and encourage you to make use of their equipment - snorkel gear, boogie boards or a cooler full of ice. Downtown is just a few blocks north...

My wife and I stayed here for the second time in September, and will definitely come back again and again! This time, we stayed in the Samurai Suite and absolutely loved it. The room is very spacious, open and has a great view. Moreover, the design, furniture and flooring are quite authentic and interesting. As everyone has stated, Gay and...

We stayed in the Bali Hai suite and its was perfect for the 4 night stay. The bed was comfortable, although very high. There was a little step by the bedside to help getting up. Everything was clean and Bill and Gay couldn't do enough to please us. Gay even entertained us with a hula at breakfast one morning. This...

My husband and I recently stayed at the Hilo Honu Inn and it was everything wonderful everyone had indicated in their reviews & more! This was a trip to Hawaii for our anniversary. We split our time between the Big Island (our first visit) and Kauai (where we had honeymooned). Although Kauai has a special place in our hearts, we...
