Just returned from our fifth stay at Waianuhea and, as always, we loved it. Our first visit was our first anniversary and we were so smitten that we decided to make it an annual affair. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and attentive without being obtrusive. The hearty gourmet breakfast is beautifully presented and delicious. The afternoon hors d'oeuvres and...

I stayed at this B&B for one night in August 2006. I was so impressed with the glowing reviews that I decided to splurge a bit for something fantastic and secluded. Though there are many good points to this property, I now know that it is not the place for me. My comments: The good stuff: I personally loved that...

My husband and I just returned from a three night stay at Waiahuhea for our 5th anniversary. This was the best bnb experience we have ever had, and we actually wished we'd stayed a whole week. The inn is located off a gravel road in a little town not too far from Waimea. We were a little worried about being...

My husband and I stayed at Waianuhea for our honeymoon in October, a 9 night stay. It was wonderful, a true getaway. The staff at Waianuhea was delightful, helpful, and courteous. The morning breakfast was delicious and wine hour was a treat. If we were going to miss wine hour the staff left us a tray of treats and a...

This is not the place for the average honeymooner. Of course, it's pretty, but it's also very isolated and cold (it was in the 60's in August and rained in the afternoon--pack warm clothes!). Beaches to enjoy the sun on are hard to come by and you probably need to travel back to the Kona region, which is not a...

“Every room is nice so depends on price you are willing to pay and how much room you want. I saw go for the space and big room if you plan to spend any time there relaxing.”

“All of the rooms are quite cozy. Two have queen beds, two have kings, and there is a secluded cottage. One of the king bedrooms is by the kitchen, which can make it a little noisy in the morning if you like to sleep in.”

“Most of the rooms are on one side of the house. One of the rooms is off by itself, but near the kitchen. Malamalama has a great view of the property.”
