We stayed in the Garden Studio unit. It's a small studio, but beautifully put together, with attention to detail. The inner courtyard that comes with the studio is private, with just enough cover to keep out of the occasional rain showers and wind. The breakfasts were great, with fresh fruit, coffee, juice, eggs, and muffins. The kitchenette is adequate, but...

Mahalo, Thomas K, for taking time to review us on Trip Advisor. The recent addition of the Doggie Dude Ranch is one of our neighbor's on-again, off-again hobbies. It is normally pretty quiet, but, of course, there was much more coming and going during the holidays. Fortunately, our neighbor's house is for sale, and we trust that their hobbies will...

This is a simply unique and lovely B & B in Kamuela. Each of the 4 cottages is beautifully furnished and appointed. In various visits, we have stayed in three of them. It is always like coming home. Barbara and Charley (the owners), and Heather (their helper) take such good care of their guests and the place that stress melts...

Pleasent, tastefully decorated, quiet, convenient to both Kohala beaches and the interior. A good choice if you prefer beauty and serenity over pampering. The hosts were away, but we were well cared for by Heather.

We stayed at this wonderful place for two nights only - unfortunately. The Garden Room thrilled us from the first minute we entered the nicely designed patio. With every step we took into the room, we were more amazed. This is a wonderful little studio, furnished and built with a lot of taste. The bathroom with its beautiful turquoise tiles...

Spent 3 nights with hubby in the kohala cottage. We lived staying up in Waimea and away from the heavy tourist area of kona and kohala coast. The owner Barbara is lovely. The cottage is well equipped , huge bathroom, very private and quiet. The grounds are beautiful with fruit trees, a stream out back, horses and a peacock next...

Stayed here on our honeymoon and it was lovely. Rooms were fantastic with beautiful grounds and we had a visit every morning from an exotic bird parading in the grass next to the stream. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The only bad thing I can say is that I was only able to spend two nights in this amazing place. Some other guests were staying six weeks. That's the better way to do it. This was a truly lovely place. My friend and I stayed in the Kohala cottage (two beds) while another friend stayed in the Waimea Cottage....

Nice room, well provisioned with beach towels and other conveniences. Breakfast is a limited, do-it-yourself affair – some very good places to eat nearby. Short drive to several great destinations (beach, hiking, ziplining, etc.). Owners are friendly, but you may not see much of them unless you need something.

We stayed for three nights in the Garden Studio and absolutely loved it. It comes with everything you could possibly need, including beach towels and chairs, aromatherapy shampoo, and all kitchen essentials. The owners are gracious and friendly, and the nearby town is good for groceries (try to find the fresh malasadas food truck!) The best thing is the luxurious...

My wife and I brought our two daughters (7 and 9), this is our 4th time staying here. We've stayed at other spots on the island, but this is our very favorite. Waimea Garden Cottage is so close to the beach (about 8 miles), and in such an awesome community. We frequented the farmer's market on the weekends for all...
