As one with some background in historic preservation in Hawaii, it was a particular pleasure to be able to stay at a property with the Jacaranda Inn’s rich heritage and charm but modern-day comfort, wiring and plumbing. Much of the historic fabric and certainly the...More
Although many good reviews on TA we did not share this experience. We stayed only one night at the Inn and immediately upon entering the big house to check in it smelled very musty. We were ushered way out back to one the farthest rooms...More
This 8 room (max 22 people) inn is the old managers house of Parker Ranch. Dated, musty and retro to the hilt, it is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Large rooms filled with antique furniture and wonderful King suze beds, larger bathrooms, balconies, outdoor...More
We loved the details in the rooms. Ours had an antique 4 poster bed and a huge jacuzzi tub. We enjoyed our private lanai, but also got coffee and pastries at the nearby Waimea Coffee Roasters and sat in the sun on the large front...More

It used to be a bed and breakfast but they stopped doing that in 2006. However I recommend that you stay at the Waimea Country Lodge. At the Jacaranda Inn my husband and I got bit really bad by mosquitos after about a week it didn't get any better so we checked out and stayed at the Waimea Country Lodge. In the same parking lot there is a restaurant called Paniolo country Inn and just about a mile down the same street is Hawaiian Style Cafe and they to have really good breakfast.(The Cafe is cash only, but well worth it).
