Absolutely beautiful piece of property. It was so peaceful and meticulously maintained. Although we did a lot during our stay we would have been perfectly happy staying on the property reading or enjoying a glass of wine on the porch. Our bed was very comfortable and the rain shower was amazing. The owners were extremely knowledgeable about the entire island,...

Kalaekilohana has 4 big, nice, neat rooms. Every room has each wondeful interior decoration. All of equipments are perfect. Especially about meal, it was great, beyond our imagination. we often suffer from lack of vegitables during our travel, but a lot of kinds of vegitables and fruits kept our stamach good condition. The taste of Kenny's cooking was so great that we...

Wow! What a delightful stay on our honeymoon. We expected a beautiful location, clean rooms, and an enjoyable stay. We got that and much more! Delicious meals, terrific advice on the what to do, and wonderful new friends. Kenny and Kilohana are warm and engaging hosts. We feel like we have a home on the Big Island. A must stay!

We just completed another stay at the wonderful Kalaekilohana on South Point Road, the Big Island of Hawai’i. This slice of paradise hosted by Kenny and Kilohana is tastefully appointed throughout to portray the local flora and fauna and the Hawaiian culture. The floral arrangements, by Kilohana, of local protea are throughout the entire Inn to enjoy. The food preparation...

Beautiful place with so many great qualities! It is a one in a million type of B&B which borders on a small hotel. This is a house that was built with light, space and sound in mind. Like, if per say: Eric Clapton were looking for his next off site recording location. I would consider this a Mussel Shoals type...

Staying 3 nights with our 3 children (aged 10-13) we were looking for family-friendly hosts and we truly found them in Kenny and Kilohana! Kalaekilohana is an amazing venue, individual and sublime. Each room is exquisitely furnished and the finishing touches and amenities available are of the highest quality. We took full advantage of Kenny's fabulous cooking (breakfasts everyday, and...

Best place to stay on the Big Island! The location is nice and remote but with very easy access to locations like Volcano National Park, green/black sand beaches, or Kona, The breakfast and dinner meals were phenomenal and the best meals we ate on the island. Kenny and Kilohana are very gracious hosts and have an extensive knowledge of the...

A truly wonderful experience. Kenny and Kilohana were amazing hosts. Full of great advice on what to do on the island. Breakfasts out of this world with locally sourced produce. We had dinner there every evening and I would highly recommend doing so. Amazing food! Rooms are beautiful. One of my favourite things to do was to sit on the...

My husband and I live on the Big Island but sought a quality inn --not a resort scene--elsewhere on the island for an anniversary get away.Trip Advisor ratings led us to Kalaekilohana Inn. We were not disappointed. A real retreat feeling at the southern Kau district of the island, a beautifully constructed property, furnishings, & grounds with lovely, comfortable Hawaiian...
