This was our second visit. Different room... All accommodations are nice. This visit we had a chance to meet with people that were from France, Belgium, and Switzerland. The grounds are beautiful. The hospitality was great.

The location is great, and breakfast was good, but the house itself is not in great shape. Stained carpeting is a turn off. The area is damp all the time and so is the house, and it smells musty. No ceiling fan in our room to provide any air movement. I would not stay there again.

We stayed one night right after we landed in Hilo and were able to check in early as the previous guest had already left. The owner was friendly but also not overbearing and checked us in and showed us around. It was a nice older home very well put together with 4 different rooms and a beautiful back yard. There...

I must say it is close to Volcano park but other than that it leaves a lot to be desired. The owner is very nice. You do have the run of the house. BUT the house smells musty and moldy it is in the rain forest which is probably why. There are big stains on the carpet which turns me...

My husband and I, together with another couple, spent two nights at Aloha Junction The rooms were very comfortable and Robert provided a beautifully set breakfast table, together with a delicious breakfast. The B&B bedrooms were comfortable and the B&B provided many extras for guests, e.g. first aid items, umbrellas and quite a stocked library. I would recommend this well...

The property was large and beautiful. Guests are given full access to the house - kitchen, living room, porch, yard. The owner greeted and was friendly. The kitchen is stocked with teas, hot chocolate and coffee. In case you forgot anything the owners have toiletry and first aid items for the guests. They also have house slippers, rain jackets, books,...

We were only there for one night but it was a great experience. The location was perfect (as it was very close to the Volcano National Park) and the accommodations were quite comfortable. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the location.

This was a nice little B&B. Comfortable bed, clean and beautiful area. We only slept there after our volcano tour and headed back to Kona early so we didn't take advantage of the breakfast. But they had the table settings all set up and the kitchen smelled of something delicious!

we were the first guests to arrive ... I thought there would be more interaction with the owners but it was brief and to the point conversations -- no showing us around, no real chit chat. Breakfast was excellent! We were in the Pele suite -- beds were comfortable. Bathroom was small and shower was "rustic". Some of the window...

We enjoyed our three nights at Aloha Junction. The house was very comfortable and both the owners and the other guests were very friendly. Beautiful location and very convenient for visiting the park. The rooms are simple, but have everything you could need; small refrigerator, coffee maker, cups, wine glasses, mugs, even an electric fireplace! We would stay here again...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Aloha Junction B&B is located in Volcano Village, just behind the Post Office where it is quiet and private. In this old plantation home you will not feel crowded in these spacious rooms reminiscent of the 1930's. Property is fenced and gated for privacy with plenty of free parking available too. Each room has it's own coffee maker, mini fridge and toaster, but you won't want to miss Uncle Robert's famous Papaya-boat and macadamia nut breakfasts. Guests are also welcome to use the kitchen at night if you want to stay home for your own cooked meal. While touring this "Drive-in" volcano, you definitely want to include some sunset time to see the glow from Kilauea.
