Enjoyed a wonderful stay at Kilauea Lodge. In addition, the restaurant was beyond my expectations-definitely make reservations by the fireplace as they get very busy. Volcanoes National Park which is worth a few days visit is very close

We stayed in the Pi'i Mauna house, and the two separate buildings were perfect for traveling with my children ages 20, 18 and 13. They were instantly drawn to the Scrabble game and Lincoln Logs, instead of the TV. The food service in the lodge was slow, but definitely worth the wait. A very nice surprise for such a small...

We visited Kilauea Lodge & Restaurant following a trip to the Kilauea Crater, which was so great, the crater and the restaurant. The restaurant interior was charming, the food was great with a a good variety to choose from and there was a great fireplace burning during dinner. Our waitress was lovely and everything was well timed, good service, which...

Check in was easy our room was ready right at 3pm. The room was even more quaint than the pictures suggest and larger too. It was extremely clean and every detail suggested how much TLC goes into maintaining the property. The gas fireplace was so nice! It put off a lot if heat and was so romantic. We rocked in...

The lodge is a special place with history and great breakfast. Very good service. Nice reasonably priced gift shop. Love the lodge fireplace. If there on a Sunday, check out the Volcano Farmers Market; go early before 8:30 AM.

We stayed in the Pi'i Mauna house, which is off site from the main lodge, so my review can only cover that. The Pi'i Mauna house reminded me of the lake cabins that my friends used to invite me to when I was a kid in the 70s. You can't drink the water, so they provide bottled water; there's no...

Aloha I read your Review and reflected on your comments. Truly, you would have been happier staying in a resort on the Kona coast and making a day trip to the National Park. No one in this area of the island has central heat or central air...or County water...it is all collected from the rain or trucked in. We are...

Kilauea Lodge offers warm cozy rooms with an easy to light fireplace which is really appreciated since the night can be cool at 4000 foot elevation. The lodge is in a rural setting close to the entrance of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The restaurant serves an excellent breakfast served by exceptionally pleasant staff, some of whom have been employed there...

Made a last minute decision to go to Volcano to explore. Always wanted to visit this Lodge. Booked on line with a last minute opening. Called to confirm and was told that the last cottage was available. Loved the experience from check in to check out. The newly remodeled bathrooms are beautiful. Loved the gas fireplace on the chilly evening....
