Even though they are working on upgrading the rooms we had a lovely stay. The food in the restaurant and out by the pool was excellent! The pools are lovely and the waterslide is very safe with a height limit and an attendant supervising. We saw a green sea turtle snorkelling from the beach! Our concierge, Rebecca, was outstanding! When... More

My husband and I went to the Big Island and stayed at this hotel for 7 days. The hotel was beautiful, when you walk in the main entrance it's very open and you can see the ocean. Room was very clean, staff was very nice. The hotel is conveniently located near shopping area.

We were unable to stay at the Waikoloa Beach Marriott this time because they were sold out due to fewer rooms available (half of the property is currently undergoing renovations and construction and converted into timeshares). We have always stay here, so we thought we'd come by and check out what's been happening at the resort. Sad to say, the... More

I think I need to preface our stay with this: I had read numerous reviews online and even posted questions in several forums regarding our trip. Almost all of them said how the renovations at the Marriott were disruptive and ruined their vacation. That could not be further from the truth!! Yes, they are undergoing renovations, but quite honestly, that... More

This property is undergoing renovations...many are complete...but caused no inconvenience. A beautiful property, in a great location, with a fantastic beach, and fabulous sunsets. Staff were all excellent...restaurant served great Mai Tai's. Although there is an a al carte menu, buffets seem to be the primary focus...Can walk to several other restaurants in the area......Highly recommend...

When traveling on a lower revenue project, I try to look for deals as to respect the bottom line. I'm on the Big Island for 1 night and found this hotel for $199 plus the $31 resort fee. My mistake! A mistake I will never ever ever make again. This is the second stay in a row where my room... More

This trip was to celebrate a 10 year wedding anniversary/wedding renewal, and birthdays celebrations. We were a family of 4 plus my in laws which made us a party of 6. The original trip which included flight, hotel and car was booked through Costco Travels. Then I booked another room for my in laws. I had some issues and when... More

Beautiful property, pleasant staff, only downfall is its very pricey to eat here. Breakfast buffet is about $35.00 per person, which can be pricey for a week stay. This is one of a few hotels with an actual beach, and it is awesome. Location , location, location, it is directly across the street from several shops and restaurants all within... More

I was coming off a trip to Bali a few months ago with exceptional hotels, service and amenities so I'm taking that into consideration. We were staying here as part of the Ragnar relay and booked a discounted "cabana room". Still ended up being with resort fees, etc about $270/night. When I think cabana room I think Mexico with a... I spent 4 nights at this hotel, and I would not recommend it to others due to the rude front desk staff and manager. My friend and I had a unique situation in that we were staying 2 nights, leaving for one night, and coming back for 2 nights. Before flying to Hawaii, we called the hotel and asked if... More
