Stayed here on first trip to Kauai. Great views from Lanai. Location is good as Kapaa is midway from everything. Great Mexican food nearby--tiki tacos!.Condos are nice but nothing special. Street noise an issue.

If you're looking for a lay back Hawaiian experience with some pockets of activity Kauai is the island to visit. Occasionally traffic can be an issue but only briefly near intersections.Restaurants are small and food varies. The resort restaurants are very good but pricey, but so is most of Hawaii. If you're looking for an inexpensive vacation Hawaii is not for...

If you have to have five star accommodations this is NOT your type of place. But if great views, great pricing, Clean comfortable rooms is what you like then Kapaa shores is great. Remember NO A/C, but most of the Island does NOT have A/C.

This review is for condo # 305! The unit itself has amazingly breathtaking views of the ocean. It is literally a few feet from the water. The view is like a painting from the living room or kitchen via the ceiling to floor glass doors. The spacious, very private lanai has an outdoor dining set for 4 that is perfect...

This is a condo, not a hotel . Great location, and wonderful views! Went with daughter and friend .No kids! Excellent ! Went to most of the attractions and will have to visit it again to hit the things we missed!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom on the 3rd floor overlooking the ocean. The views of the ocean can be seen from the lanai, the kitchen & living room, and the sound of the waves crashing on shore are wonderful to listen to while relaxing or cooking. Since Kapaa is on the East shore, sunrise reigns supreme here, and is...

We had a two bedroom unit on the 3rd floor that was perfect for us. We had everything we needed to be comfortable. Shopping and restaurants were right across the street. We could rent bikes for the bike path right beside us. The pool and hot tub were great and the ocean view spectacular. We could go north or south...

We stayed at this resort for 5 days opinion September 2015. Our condo was a 1 bedroom on the ground floor overlooking the ocean. It had a newly updated kitchen and comfortable furniture. The price was very reasonable and location couldn't be beat as it was in the middle of the island. Easy drive to both the north and south...

I came here with my family for vacation and we were looking for low price, as well as something close to the beach. So far we are half way through our stay and the pool is always well kept and the rooms are a good size and fun to be in. The kids love it here and the view is...

We just returned from a 10 day stay on Kauaii,. We stayed 4 out of 9 nights at Kapaa Shores. If you appreciate insect infested accommodations with filthy furniture and no AC this is the place for you. "Dated" is an understatement. The furniture is at least 40 years old and filthy. We stayed in the 2 bedroom condo on...
