I knew when I booked the hotel that I booked one of the cheapest hotels on the island. I always try this as I don't need a lot of luxury. I was also informed about the renovations and I must say, that was not too...More
This hotel is showing its age but they are renovating many of the suites. It was very clean with a fridge, coffee maker, plates and cutlery plus a kitchen sink with soap and towels which is great because just down a bit and across the...More
I found this to be a very unsatisfactory place.
Just because its a budget hotel - surely coffee and tea facilities should have been included. The place was so run down - I certainly
would not recommend this place.

No. I have seen no signs of refurbishment activity. There are no TVs but signs that there once was one - cable line looped by the sliding door to deck. My room was in the middle building, on the end towards the Bull Shed. It's a larger room, and I was lucky enough to have a fan in the room when I checked it. It had a timer so I was able to set the time -- up to 4 hours. I did not keep the sliding door open during the night since I was worried if it rains the rain might come in and soak the carpet floor. The fridge was working; it had a broken plastic handle at the top. Small fridge like a dorm..square. I did not use the coffee maker. I ate out most of the time since there is a grocery store - Food Lands across the street, and there are lots of eateries in walking and short driving distance away.
