My husband and I spent 10 days at the Maalea surf in March, and it couldn't have been better. The grounds are lush and well maintained, it's right on the beach, and you're seconds away from long beach walks. Sunsets are gorgeous, and the place has a friendly, laid-back feel. Our unit - C-4, was perfect. The ground floor one...

We've stayed here twice already and it's a wonderful, quiet place to stay, though you're close to most attractions. Fully furnished condos in 1 or 2 bedroom layouts. Self-contained and serviced every few days. Can highly recommend...we'll certainly be back!

We stayed in unit D10, which is an upstairs, waterfront unit. It was well away from the road and the only sound we heard were the waves. We arrived on a Sunday, when the office was closed but the lockbox gave easy access to our keys and information. The view from the lanai was lovely. The grounds are beautiful and...

Friends had recommended this resort but they had never stayed in F5, the two bedroom unit we rented for a week. We would not recommend this unit, for several reasons. First, it is too close to the highway and the bedrooms are at the back with traffic noise affecting your sleep most of the night. Second, we encountered termite frass...

So I'll try to be descriptive and give a review based on my experiences. We are traveling with a 2 year old and a 7 year old. We landed around midnight on dec 9. Stopped over at Safeway for some quick shopping and got to the resort by 2amish. Getting keys from lockbox was simple. Instructions provided were detailed. Our...

This condo rental is perfect for the beach enthusiast! The lanai is just feet away from the ocean. Sunsets are amazing! Listen to the waves from large sliding doors overlooking the ocean. A car rental is a must. Maui is very easy to drive in.

My floors were being refinished at home and i needed to move out for 18 days. After giving it some thought, I figured I would use the opportunity for a well deserved rest. So I needed a reasonably priced condo and wanted to be on the beach but I didn't want to sacrifice quality. I got lucky when I rented...

We were the guests of ownership. Upgrades, fine furniture, stunning art. Tiled floors, kitchen, bathrooms (2). This seems to make all the difference. The rentals can be problematic. We found that occupiers of the rental units were a mixed bag; sometimes, very much aware of the special place that is Ma'alaea Surf, but for others just another hotel, albeit condos:...

I have a high stress job and was badly in need of a vacation. I randomly picked this unit at the Ma'alaea Surf, not knowing anything about Maui. I lucked out. The location is central to everything touristy, but at the same time feels remote because you are on the beach. A three minute walk down the beach brings you...

We were in E4 and the unit is impeccable. Brand new. Pool and beach are immaculate and warm. There are no resort services but this was just fine. Housekeeping every other day. The shops of kihei are close and convenient and we loved eating at Nalu's and Coconuts. I'd be back in a heartbeat. So perfect.
