My husband and I spent several weeks there December 2017-January 2018. The unit was nice enough albeit a bit small and not very clean when we got there. It took him the better half of the evening to clean it to his satisfaction.
We were quite disappointed with this unit in Maui Vista at Kihei. As soon as we entered into this unit, we found that 1) the electric stove was not cleaned but making black fumes when turned on; 2) the coffee maker was leaking...More
Not only is the Maui Vista in a fantastic location (directly across from Charley Young Beach) it is very well maintained. There is pride of ownership with this property. We stayed in a fourth floor unit, that has a loft. This worked out perfectly for...More
Love the location of this property. It's a great place to walk to so many restaurants and right across the beach. During our last stay we had major issues with the owner (VRBO # 292391). The central AC unit had broken and he put a...More

I have a friend that lives in Building 1 and I personally have stayed in all three buildings. When we stayed in building 3, we rented the top floor. If it is anything like building ones floor plan, it has a open loft that looks down on the living room. It may have one big bed or two twins and a half bathroom. 418 should look out towards the parking lot and towards the West Maui mountains, BUT you should have a killer view. Now the negative about being on the top floor is, the elevators break down a lot as they did during our stay. The last thing we wanted to do is hike stairs after a long day in Hana. Lastly, BRING EARPLUGS!!! on the fourth floor, you are at treetop level. Between the Mynah birds, Doves and parrots/lovebirds they are LOUD!!! The widows are glass louver type and do not block out the noise. Hope all this helps. If you want to know great eats, check out mu other reviews from Maui. ALOHA!!
