The location to the park is definitely the high point of this place. The cottage we stayed in could use some updates. The Wi Fi was very weak and spotty and the owners only turn the hot water on from 4-10 AM and PM. They told us they did it because they are a "green" inn, but there was very...

Stopped here on the way down from the crater for a late lunch (2.30pm). We were the only ones in the restaurant but sat outside for sandwiches. 2 beef steak, one cheeseburger and a cheese toastie. Not the massive portions that we have had to endure (and leave) while we have been in the US and very tasty. Would recommend...

We stayed here for our first 2 days in Maui. This is the ideal spot to visit Haleakala National Park. It is very close to the fun drive up to the summit. Greatly enjoyed the Sliding Sands trail onto the crater. We were in the 2nd cabin on top. Wonderful views down the valley. We had.a rainbow! Many rainbows here....

After watching the sunrise at the Haleakala crater, we happened upon this gem for breakfast. Great coffee, and hot chocolate with whipped cream. They have a small menu, but perfect. Fabulous Keokea omelette, and the French toast made with fresh-baked bread, whipped butter, and warmed syrup. Yummm. I have never understood why people take pics of their food, but I...

After getting up at 2:30 a.m. to see the sunrise on Haleakala , we stopping at the coolest inn for breakfast. A must do! The macadamia nut pancakes and cinnamon raisin French toast were magnificent! Huge quantities though so you may want to consider splitting an order. My husband and I were in a food coma, when we were done!...

So happy we chose this restaurant! Extremely friendly owner and we enjoyed a great breakfast! The cream for the coffee, was served hot! Awesome! The breakfast was so tasty and presented nicely! We would definitely recommend this restaurant! It is casual and inviting!

I recently stayed here overnight as this inn is close to Haleakala (will still take up to an hour to reach, FYI). It's a simple, spacious cabin with only the basic amenities. I'm sure if one asks they would provide extra pillows & towels if needed. Very clean, with a comfortable queen size bed & the cost was a little...

Great little out of the way cafe and inn, we stopped for lunch after visiting Haleakala national park. Perfect peaceful setting beautiful lanai (patio) to enjoy a light lunch at great prices. Service was perfect we couldn't ask for anything better. We thoroughly enjoyed and will tell all.

I'm rating this a three, and thats being generous. This was easily the most I've ever paid ($185) for such a basic, no frills room. The cabins have not been remodeled, ever, and the internet was M.I.A. Ants in the bathroom. Great views from the balcony, but nothing to sit on or even a table. No A/C (prob don't need...

I originally stayed at Lahaina for my first trip to Maui. It was like Waikiki on Maui. It was okay. I wanted to try something different other than the typical tourist stop over. I chose Kula Sandalwoods Inn because of its unique location right at the base on the road the leads to Haleakala. Try driving to Haleakala from Lahaina,...
