Loved H-house. With only 6 rooms, the only time we saw anyone was in the morning at breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, there is bountiful fresh fruit and muffins, breads, etc. Amy is more than happy to accommodate any special requests, too. Tea is available all day. I highly recommend the coconut blend. Amy and Dan provide all kinds of hats...

The property is cockroach infested. We found so much cockroach in our room we had to buy our own bug Spray and found more than 20 dead roaches the next day. Even our jeep got roach infested because we accidentally left a gap on one of our window. We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our 3 week...

While we truly do appreciate guests posting reviews of our property, we can't help but take issue with this one. Our property is not bug infested. Being on a tropical island, there are of course some bugs. We are able to keep the majority of these at bay with our monthly non-toxic bug spray application. In this unusual situation it...

If you plan a trip to West Maui, your first step should be to secure a room in Ho ‘oilo House. The drive up the residential street to its entrance cannot prepare you for the privacy and serenity you will find. This was our first trip to Hawaii; we had come directly from a two-night stay in a seaside cottage...

My husband and I spent a week at Ho'oilo House. If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet place to stay, look no further. Lahaina is only a short drive from Ho'oilo House so it is close enough to drive to dinner or to shop, but far enough away from it that you do not experience the hustle and...

We spent 8 glorious nights at Ho'oilo House B&B, near Lahaina, Maui. Not the type for the hectic resort scene, we were delighted to find this idyllic setting on the internet. Amy and Dan, the owners, did not disappoint. They accommodated my dietary restrictions with ease. The 6 rooms, all individually decorated in an Asian theme were lovely and spacious....

My husband and I stayed for five nights in this absolutely perfect B&B. It is up the hill and a bit south of Lahaina, so you are away from the noice and hustle-bustle of that area. Dan and Amy are so accomodating. They provide beach chairs, mats, coolers, beach towels, whatever for trips to the beach (which there are many,...

Ho'oilo House is a wonderful place to stay - superb location, charming and very helpful owners, spacious, comfortable bedrooms, peace broken only by birdsong, and magnificent views. Breakfast overlooking the pool, with home-made muffins still warm from the oven and watching the birds come to drink from the fountains was delightful. The outdoor shower was great. We were aware of...

Nothing else to say but we loved it! If you do not have children traveling with you this should be the only place you ever consider staying in Maui. Quiet, beautiful, helpful, unique, amazing. Best, ever!

The Ho'olio House is an excellent place to stay on your honeymoon. My wife and I wanted a quiet place to enjoy our honeymoon the Ho'olio House was perfect! The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, it was a 5 min drive from downtown Lahaina. If we wanted to we could lounge around the pool which was relaxing and...

The Ho'oilo House is such a beautiful house in such a beautiful environment that I would always prefer it to any of the 5-star resort hotels. Amy and Dan are such pleasant hosts, you really feel at home from the first moment you are entering the house. All rooms are very spatious and luxurious. The house is so peaceful and...
