After a brilliant 5 weeks island-hopping in Hawaii - time to write the good-bads-uglys on Tripadvisor! The Garden Gate was our accommodation low-point - but read on. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 toddlers, and I think because of that we were placed in a room not advertised on the B&B website. It was adjacent to the...

This place is ok but not great. The breakfast consists of pastries and fruit plus coffee and juice all of which is bought at the grocery store in town. The upstairs rooms have views of Lana'i and Molokai. The room we stayed in was spacious and had a nice bathroom. It is located in a residential area of Lahaina about...

My wife and I arrived at the Garden Gate for a three-night stay at the end of June. This was our first time to try a B&B (instead of a resort hotel) in Hawaii. Once we entered the white gate we found a lovely garden and outdoor dining area which was the focal point of an attractive, well-kept two-story home...

My wife and I spent 11 days here during our honeymoon. We got to know the staff (Anna) and the family that ran the B&B (Jaime and her son Justin). All were friendly and helpful. Jaime was very helpful in assisting our travel plans and making recommendations for various adventures (helicopter, luau, etc.). We're not the type to spend much...

It´s not only beautiful, the service combined with charming help from Anna is great!!! You have to stay there, trust us..... But you have to stay in one...

I can't believe the last review on this page - this b&b was beautiful. The owners were friendly and welcoming despite difficult personal circumstances. We were given restaurant recommendations and money off vouchers. We had the ocean view room that was very luxurious with predictably views of the ocean and cute garden. If you were staying in a resort you...

The guest made his reservation through booking.com. By the looks of it, our listing for the garden gate bed & breakfast is not updated....As a counter response, our customer was not informed that there is no breakfast served on the weekends and that it is a continental breakfast, even though it is stated on the website. We paid him a...

My husband and I stayed here 7 nights the last week of March. It was a lovely place to sleep, eat breakfast, and relax. We used beach chairs, water "noodles", coolers (of various sizes), and a bicycle from our hosts, when we hit the many beaches nearby for a snorkel or sunbathe. We enjoyed visiting with the other international guests...
