Ku'au Inn B & B (Permit # : BBPH 2015/0003) is located on Maui's North Shore, and is known for its classic Hawaiian hospitality. The comfort and style of Kuau Inn, and the beach neighborhoods of Paia and Kuau leave you feeling like part of the community. This wonderful treasure of a plantation home has been fully restored to retain its original charm. The lanai / patio is where you can hang out, barbecuing and watching the sun go down. Warm evenings in the yard offer endless star gazing! The house is surrounded by tropical landscaping, fruit trees, and a large backyard for relaxing and sunbathing.
Within minutes of Ku'au Inn are world-renowned Hookipa Beach, popular for surfing, windsurfing, kite boarding, and stand up paddling. Safe swimming nearby; Ku’au Cove where Mama’s Fish House is located, and Baldwin Beach near Pa’ia have protected lagoons year round. Kuau Inn is 5 miles from the Airport, one mile from the town of Paia, and on the start of the road to Hana (45 miles away).
We loved staying at this house! We were a family group of 10 adults and all of us were able to have our own room/bed as needed. This home is very conveniently located near the airport, on the Road to Hana, and downtown Paia. It was great having a washer and dryer, and the lanai was wonderful for meals and just enjoying some relaxation outside! Kuau Beach is 0.2 miles down the road where we saw amazing sunrises and tons of sea turtles resting on the beach - truly amazing! My only complaint about this property is that it is typically used as a B&B and thus 2+ potential guests pulled into the driveway each day looking for the owner in order to rent a room (which was not available since we had rented the whole house).
We loved the location, affordability, and cleanliness of this inn! They provided eggs, cereal, coffee, and fruit to make for breakfast. When we return to Maui, we would absolutely stay here again. Great value!
My wife and I were looking for an inexpensive place to stay in Maui, and this fit the bill exactly. The price was super reasonable and the stay was really comfortable. Everyone else staying there was really nice as well. I really appreciate Kim, one of the landlords, being there to welcome us in and give us a quick tour. I will totally stay here again if I ever visit Maui again.
I enjoyed staying in this cute B&B that was clean, cozy and quiet. Just what we needed after a long journey from New York City to the nearby OGG airport. It includes a great kitchen to make breakfast before leaving too!
We loved our stay at this B & B. Great location. Fun meeting the other guests. Although we were only there 3 nights, it was comfortable and we appreciated breakfast. On last morning we had to be at airport early so grabbed a couple of pieces of fruit to eat on the way. Close to airport and town of Paia with good restaurants. Also nice location to travel road to Hana and do some hiking.
