The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room was very small with no seating except the bed and no where to store suitcases and clothing for two people. The amenities were non-existent but you pay a fee for them. Paia is wonderful so if you want to stay there it is well located.

A truly remarkable experience! Green sea turtles, private beach, excellent restaurant, outstanding service and accommodations. The town is kind of OK, but, there are a few nice stops. The fish market has excellent food And the breakfast place is very nice. The bar on the corner is awesome. Shops are way way way overpriced. Don’t forget to bring your snorkel gear and be careful of the path to the beach out the back it’s slippery and rocky! Can’t wait to go back!

Adorable inn, right in the center of town, with shops and food on one side and beach and ocean views on the other. A great start to a long-awaited vacation in Maui. The character and charm of this place will encourage people to forgo the standard hotel stay for boutique properties like Paia Inn.

Paia town can be overwhelming at times, and I was skeptical about staying right in the heart of it, but Paia Inn was a little oasis. We stayed in two different rooms during our stay and both were lovely. It was surprisingly quiet, clean, and the rooms had everything you might need. The staff are so friendly and helpful as well. We will definitely be recommending Paia Inn to others!

We live on Oahu and always wanted to watch the sunrise on Haleakala. So for our 25th Wedding Anniversary we decided to plan a get away to Maui. Paia Inn captured all our amenities in a home away from home experience. We will definitely be back. More memories in our adventure of life.

We had a great stay. Enjoyed the location, cozy room and lounge area as well as the peaceful private oceanfront space. The staff was so nice and accommodating. Parking was convenient as was its location to top sightseeing areas and delicious restaurants. The windows are thin but didn’t disturb my sleep. If you’re a light sleeper bring earplugs. I would stay again!!

We stayed in the 3 bedroom bungalow nestled at the back of the Inn's property, and our stay was perfect from beginning to end. The bungalow has its own beautiful private lanai (with ample seating, a large dining table and awesome TV) and yard with its own gate to the beach lounge, a the well-appointed kitchen, comfy beds, and plenty of room for our party of 6. The hotel provides towels and beach chairs, and we had surfboards in our yard, should we have been inclined to give surfing a try. It really is in the center of town--with restaurants and boutique shops steps away. We celebrated our last night there at Vana, the sushi restaurant on site, and it was divine! and the bonus: turtles came up to rest on the beach right outside the gate! Amazing! And if you are planning to do the road to Hana...or even just a piece of it...run down the street and grab a picnic lunch from the gelato restaurant.…

The beach is literally steps from the property!! Very private, relaxing and clean hotel. The staff were so nice and very welcoming, not to mention helpful in any way. There was even a “mini happy hour” in their beach lounge area. I would stay again!

I went for business but took family along for half of the two week stay. BEAUTIFUL accommodations, great restaurant, amazingly close to the beach which was relatively isolated to guests of this inn. Full beach experience, turtles, crabs, amazing sunsets. One of the lovely young staff members even gave my much older mother an assist back up from the beach! But here's the REAL deal, I got sick after my family left. So for a week Joslin, Tim, Katherine, Michael (restaurant) and Mrs. Welcher took care of me. I mean this sincerely. I planned to go to another hotel after my family left because I didn't need so much room, and was turned away because I was sick. But the Paia welcomed me back and LITERALLY took care of me. The poor ladies at the desk even came to my door when I slept through my family's phone calls, to make sure I was okay. This is truly ohana (family) spirit, and my family back home is just as grateful to them as I am. …
