I met a lot a people, the atmosphere was super friendly and I made lots of friends. Tha staff is really nice and involved with the hosts. First you have to know: this is NOT a Hotel! It's a hostel and it has everything a good Hostel offers. The beds are wooden and stable, but the matresses are a bit worn out. The Kitchen is pretty big and has enough cooking equipment. On the other hand, it takes some time to heat up a pan to cook...

Wow, for a student traveling from South Africa this was quite a unique and unforgettable experience! We found our way from the airport by taxi as the bus service is not great. The charismatic staff offer free tours every day to the different attractions Maui has to offer. The tours were very informative as well as fun. They not only...

I was not disappointed to be stuck in Maui to say the least. They were wonderfully accommodating about checking us in and out every few hours...

I planned on staying seven days and ended up being there for five weeks. I assume this already tells quite a bit about the atmosphere at the bungalow - and of course Maui. The island is paradise and thanks to the free tours the hostel offers every day you get to experience a lot of different spots on the island....

Everyone was very friendly when i arrived. I was a bit hesitant as this was my first time traveling alone, however my friend had stayed here a few months earlier and raved about how much fun she had.
