I've enjoyed staying at Pillows in Pradise for over 15 years and have never been disappointed in the time I've spent there. This past trip was, as always, with wonderful accommodations, great price, awesome location, quiet, well managed property, and amazing proprietors who make the visit warm and friendly. I loved the resident golden lab, Rune, who also is an... More

I have been all over the world and I have been to Oahu 11 times, so I am being fair in my assumption. Not once when booking or on the website are you told there is a dog roaming the grounds, I took my 12 month grandson so would of been nice to have been told, the owner Barbara also... More

I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere in the big beautiful rooms. Our location was very convenient,It was 10min to the beach, and 10 min to the supermarket. The owner is a tidy and helpful woman. And her husband Lionel is kind, and a labrador retriever named Rune is friendly. It is a peaceful oasis. I hope to go back soon!

A very comfortable B&B with an initial breakfast supply that lasted us 4 days! Barbara and Lionel were excellent hosts and provided some good tips on places to go that even Lonely Planet didn't mention. We were a 10 minute walk to the fantastic beach in Kailua and used the deli in the market near the beach for our evening... More

We had a great stay in the Tropical Suite! Nice big bathroom, good TV, easy side access. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice and clean. Barbara was helpful with anything we needed and the breakfast basket lasted us the 3 days we were there. Great place to stay outside of the hectic Waikiki.

Stayed here for 4 nights in Sept and wish it had been for longer. The Lanikai apartment was big, bright and very comfortable with plenty of room for 4 adults. Barbara and her husband were very welcoming and helpful. The garden/pool is a delight. Kailua beach, a 15 min walk away is pure heaven. There are toilets and a shop... More

We stayed at Pillows in Paradise as our last stop for our honeymoon, it was a perfect place for us. The location is perfect, very close to the top rated beaches of Lanikai and Kailua, very well located for visiting Ohau by car (North Shore, Perl Harbour,....) but not so busy and crowded as Waikiki (you can live a more... Perhaps our stay was spoilt by the continuous rain, some of which was torrential, but the accommodation was really just a bedroom with a kitchenette (which you looked on from the bed) and a shower room. Dining room type chairs, but nowhere comfortable to sit, say, in the evening, although there was a very small veranda. Looking again on the... More

We stayed at Pillows in Paradise for one night on 12th November, what a disappointment. We paid really good money and expected what we had read on there website but they didn't deliver. We arrived and pulled into the drive way to be greeted by Barbara who asked us to move our car and put it in the street around... More

My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with a trip to Oahu and the big island, Hawaii. I work long hours and we wanted something relaxing. This location provided that. Barbara is very thoughtful and accomodating. We loved the lanikai studio -- it was quite roomy, clean and comfortable. Since we were somewhat late arriving we were very... More
