We stayed in February for one week at Papaya Paradise and had a great time! Jeannette was always very helpful and gave us great tipps and recommendations, and also a tipp on how to save money for getting groceries. We used the kitchen every morning to have a quick breakfast with bagels and toast and the freshly brewed coffee and...

My husband and I thoroughly enkoyed our time at Papaya Paradise. It was quiet, restful, and away from the hustle and bustle without being far from any entertainment. Beaches, parks, stores, and restaurants are all nearby. MCAS Kaneohe is about 15 minutes away. Jeannette and Bob we're welcoming and helpful. Our room was super clean! The grounds are lovely. Would...

We thoroughly enjoyed our late November stay in the poolside end (king) room at the Papaya Paradise. This is a legal Bed and Breakfast, unlike most on the island. As other guests have noted, Jeanette and Bob are a very welcoming older couple, their resident kitty a little shy. They are long time residents, know Oahu well, and Jeanette is...

Jeannette and Bob (Curly) made us feel completely at home; the room was great (comfy bed; air conditioning; large bathroom with shower; french doors with view of pool). We had the use of a refrigerator and kitchen area, and the cereal/toast/bagels for breakfast were a nice touch. We would certainly stay here again!

We stayed at Papaya In Paradise for five nights in March of 2016. The purpose of our trip was to spend some time with my grandchildren while on their spring break in beautiful Kailua. All we required was a place to rest our weary bodies at the end of a very long day and Jeanette and Bob (Curly), was so...

My wife and stayed here for 4 nights. The property is located in a nice quiet area. It located about 0.9 of a mile from the downtown area where there are some great restaurants and grocery stores. Very nice in all respects, and Jeannette the owner is ever so nice. EXCEPT that the protocol for breakfasting is "wash your own dishes and put them away." So you never know how thoroughly the last guest washed his dishes. Also, Bob, nice as he is, has early stage dementia and shuffles around the premises at all hours -- you...

Aloha, I'm sorry you did not understand our original statement that breakfast was self-catered (which included "washing, drying your dishes and putting them away"). I wish you had mentioned your concerns when you were here so we could have made other arrangements for you. Bob is an early to bed and early to rise person, so does wander around early...

We stayed at Papaya Paradise for 5 days in January. It is such a beautiful place, so calm and yet to so close to everything. It is luxurious to have a pool in this lush garden setting. Our hosts were warm, welcoming and Friendly. Wish we could have stayed there longer! We will be back for sure.
