Affordable spot with stunning views. A perfect beach spot. We were only able to stay for one night, but wished we could have spent another. Book a few days in advance if possible. There are also excellent hikes within a short drive from this place, so it serves as a base camp.

Arrived late and found out that the gates closed at 7.00pm so we had 10mins to get some food and bed down for the night in our "suite" that we paid almost $200 per night AUS for which, when we checked in, was very average. No basin, indoor shower etc - only a toilet and 2 beds. Not even a...

Although I like tent camping, my husband's choice of a cabin (S4) was a good one especially since we are almost 80 years old. We experienced three windy days, one overnight storm and rain.Took long walks along the beach. Daytime sunny. We enjoyed the peace and cool air and total relaxation. The cabin had three beds, electricity in all rooms,...

MAY 2008: First, this review is for our visit in May, 2008. We stayed in a yurt. It was not in very good shape and it was dirty. I cleaned it, shook out the mattress, and made two small repairs using my handy pocket tool. A broom and dust pan was provided so I made it our home for the...

I stayed for four nights at this great campground! I loved my time here. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I arrived VERY late, or early in the morning, due to my flight, but my check in information was ready for me as well as a map to find my hale. It was beautiful! Hearing the ocean as I fell asleep...

Myself and my boyfriend and our friends were visiting from Maui to experience a stay-cation. We wanted to be near the North Shore but close to Kailua/Kaneohe as well and we found the perfect location! Very safe. Very clean. BEAUTIFUL VIEWS. I wouldn't have changed it for the world. Such an amazing campsite. We stayed in a Hale... Next time...

This was a very wonderful campground to stay in. The beach was incredible, the facilities were good, and the staff were friendly and nice. But... There were chickens running around everywhere constantly. To the point where there were so many roosters around that one could not get a decent night's sleep without one of the many roosters crowing at 2...

My husband and I camped here for the Christmas holiday, and it was a wonderful experience. It was a little difficult finding the place as we arrived at night, after hours, and the entrance to the campground was completely dark from the road. However, after driving up and down the highway a few times and asking for directions at the...

Amazing site, renovated campground, with added services. Only downside and reason why it doesn't get 5 stars is the lack of customer service. Go there, enjoy the site and its amenities but don't expect much Aloha.

Not a hotel, but there was no other option to pick. It seems everyone (including us) have questions about camping in a camper van, a few camper van websites to rent from but where can you camp??? 17+4 Government/state sites are all tent camping only. The only place we could find to officially camper van camp in Oahu. We have...

“Cabins towards the southern end are closer to the beach and further from kids areas.”
  • Our little cabin from behind! The sand just a step away.
  • Taken from the little porch of our cabin, our picnic table while we set up the hammock!
