Walking distance to downtown and close to the park, near a couple great restaurants, clean and bright rooms and reasonably priced. The greatest thing about this place was the service, it started a bit rocky as our check in was a bit abrupt. I left my new sweatshirt in the room but only realized when we were just getting to... This was an excellent place to stay to visit Acadia National Park. Close enough to walk in to get some breakfast or dinner in Bar Harbor. The room was huge, even with a king bed. Would have loved to been able to stay another night, but they were booked. Very clean room and bathroom. And the office staff was very... More

This is the place to stay if you want a quick trip into Acadia National Park. Its location is just outside the crowded Bar Harbor area but close to town for trips in for dinner and shopping. It's a good value for and expensive area. The hotel has several two-story buildings, all with a private parking lot. The buildings are... More

This place is fantastic in every way. Family run, large squeaky clean rooms, perfectly manicured grounds and a park next door if the kids need to burn off some energy. Walking distance to town which offers many fine restaurants and easy access to Acadia NP. Can't go wrong with this place.

It is a very close walk to the village green. The room was large and clean. The tv is too small for the room and that was not a problem for us. I like the windows a lot because you can open them and it has a homey feel. The bed is comfortable for 3 nights. We stayed for 5... More

Really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and large. The grounds were very nicely taken care of. A well run business! We will stay there again for sure! It is within easy walking distance from downtown Bar Harbor.

Wonderful stay. This place was very clean and so cozy. I wouldn't classify this place as a motel like we think. It is maintained very well and has nice touches all around. This place is an easy 1/2 mile walk to town and because it's not right in the town square it is very quiet. Also, if you go a... More

My friend and I stayed at the Inn over the weekend, and overall it was a good stay. The rooms are very simple and clean as well as being quite spacious. The location close to town and the Acadia National Park are a real plus, and the price was very fair. My only slight complaint were that the beds were... More

We just enjoyed a great 3 night stay at the Cromwell Harbor Inn. Located within walking distance of the busy village of Bar Harbor and just a short drive to one entrance of ANP. The rooms were spacious and immaculate and the staff very accommodating. I read another review suggesting muffins/pastries be provided in the morning but having a refrigerator,... More

This was our second stay at the Cromwell Harbor Inn, a family-owned motel walking distance from Bar Harbor village. We had previously stayed there in June 2016 because of the motel's proximity to a marathon race event. While it was simply-appointed with few amenities, the inn was clean and quiet, with large rooms and pretty gardens. We arrived again last... More
