We spent 5 nights at the Inn and had a wonderful time for a short get away. The Inn was great; it was clean and cozy. The room we stayed in was the Bubbles, a small room but a small bathroom, perfect for 2 people. Evin the Innkeeper/Owner was awesome and very polite. She had suggestions of things to do...

I think our stay was a bit mixed because Evin, the owner, was overwhelmed because of a lack of staff. Where she normally cooks breakfast, she also had to serve it. Result...even though our reservation noted that my partner does not eat eggs, and even though that was discussed at check-in and noted on the breakfast board, three mornings in...

Hi there- thank you for this honest review. Everything you said did happen. I was overwhelmed for a couple of days. I do apologize and I hope you did enjoy the rest of your stay. And if "I" had a choice where to go to breakfast next visit, it would be at Cafe This Way for sure!

We spend 3 nights in the Sieur de Monts room, tucked behind the main building of the inn. Clean, very comfortable and roomy for two. Evin is a marvelous hostess and innkeeper, and made every effort to make sure we were comfortable and knowledgable about events and things to do in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. She made sure...

The Inn was close to everything we wanted to do. The innkeeper, Evin, had great suggestions for restaurants, things to do in the evenings, and wonderful ideas when visiting Acadia National Park. If you forgot something don't worry. Evin probably can help you out. Our room was clean and comfortable.

The location of this hotel is very good and just couple of blocks you can get into downtown area and supermarket. The breakfast is not in big portion but very tasty. Erin tried to make different food for us each day. The room we stayed (bubble) is not a big one, but very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended this place!

Great location within walking distance to the downtown area of Bar Harbor dining and shopping. Rooms are very comfortable, complete with all sorts of touches; quilts, teddy bears, plants, etc. Lots of information on things to do in the area. Evin is a wonderful hostess! She has coolers, umbrellas, beach towels and chairs for use, such nice touches. Her breakfasts...

Loved it, hostess, food, location - it all worked perfectly. The location was great, just far away from the hub of Bar Harbor to be quiet at night, but easy walking distance. I would absolutely go back.

“Pretty Marsh is where it's at. The room is comfortable and has its own little refrigerator. keurig and bathroom. It is in the 2nd building in the back facing the private back yard and just felt very quiet and private. We thoroughly enjoyed this room and can't imagine another room. ”
