This motel is very clean and a good value. It is a bit out of town, but unless you want to spend most of your time in town, it makes a good location to get around. We stayed 3 nights while exploring the town and Acadia park. It would also be good for families.

I lucked out in finding the Acadia Pines Motel. This is now my "go-to" motel for Acadia National Park. We were astonished when we walked into the room - it is super large. There is plenty of room for children's items. It has the expected items such as refrigerator and microwave, TV and desk. Also, there are accessible outlets for...

Acadia Pines is a basic clean motel a few miles north of the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor. I missed the morning breakfast and the 24-hour staff in the office that we usually enjoy, but we knew that going in. I don't like the reservations policies (charging for reservationchanges and billing the credit card even prior to arrival.). The...

We'd been planning on camping in Acadia, but the rain took it out of us. So, we did a last minute search and found this place. Only about 4 miles from downtown Bar Harbor. Room was clean and had a great kitchenette. Price was excellent. If you're looking to stay in the area but not go wild price wise, this...

This hotel had a great wooded feeling even though you were steps from major road. Fire pit was nice and cozy on a cool evening. Located 4 miles from downtown Bar Harbor with easy access. Rooms were a little tired and located too close to the main road. Room was very clean but difficult with a stand alone fridge and...

This is about as good as motels get. When you walk into your room your first impression will be--just another motel room. It's all about details. First, the room was spotlessly clean. Second, the bed, sheets, and pillows were comfortable and I had a great night sleep. Third, it was last week and very chilly outside. The heating system was...

Didn't want to pay outrageous price for our visit to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, ME. Acadia Pines is great choice for modest price to do just that. Our room was very clean, had comfortable bed, clean towels, and was surprisingly quiet, even though it is right along main road. We were right next to check-in, but had no...

Comfortable bed, clean room, nothing fancy but great price. We enjoyed our 3 night stay. Loved the chiminea where we met some other guests around a nice fire. Friendly staff . No breakfast at the hotel but enjoyed meal next door at Mainley Meats. Cute putt-putt golf across the street.

Location is excellent for access to Acadia Park. Also for a short walk to an outstanding breakfast! Accommodations comfortable, in a pine forest setting. Not fancy or upscale but much more than adequate!
