Just spent 5 days/4 nights at the Bar Harbor KOA! The campground was excellent!! We had a great site, site 106!! They have very clean restrooms and showers!! Very friendly staff , always greeting you with a wave and a smile! The campground is very convenient to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. I highly recommend this campground and...

We stayed in the cabin with a bathroom. Room that came fully equipped with linens and keurig coffee maker. My only thing is that the sites are really close to each other and there is virtually no privacy unless you stay inside with all the blinds closed. Campsite area it beautifully located with only a few steps to the bay...

We rented a cabin on the water so we could leave our kayaks on the site for easy access....perfect for those beautiful sunsets and lazy cruises around the bay. Clean, comfortable and loved being able to get a lobster dinner caught and cooked right in the bay! Pancake breakfast was great too. Loved the fire pit location, screened porch, and...

My family of 5 (7, 3 and 15 months) had a great time in our recent visit of 4 nights. Such a beautiful place to walk around and play on the ocean front rocks. The daily train ride around the camp site was a hit with the kids and the staff was so nice to everyone. The area of bar...

Last night was our first night coming in from staying in the national park and we had a laundry problem and the staff stayed late to help us get all our blankets done so we could sleep cozy! They were amazing!

Upon check-in the ladies working the desk moved our regular tent side to a nice ocean view RV site to accommodate our 3 vehicles and two tents and as a bonus we had a perfect view of the sunset. We checked in late afternoon after hiking Cadillac Mountain (which I highly recommend - it is 2.2 miles each way if...

We reserved this spot in May. As expected, only a few sites are actually on the ocean, the rest of the campers have a short walk to view Western Bay, one of many bays along the Maine coast. The sites are close together, many shaded, all gravel pads. Our site was quite muddy when it rained--needs more rock. We were...

We booked early, in February for a September stay, because we wanted oceanfront. At this campground it's the only way to go; however, it's not easy to get unless you plan ahead. The free shuttle service to Acadia was wonderful! We used it everyday. Lobsters are made to order on the premises AND the pie guy comes around in his...

Like most KOA campings, this place is in very good order and the facilities are clean and in good order. My only warning is that contrary to the advertisement, there are very few sites by the water. You're more likely to see the ocean trough many other RVs

This was a great location and had amazing views! I loved being able to sit in the chairs that they provided and watch the sunset in the evening. It was truly amazing! We were able to use the pool at the KOA up the road, so that was nice on a warm day. There's a little cafe with breakfast and...
