Starting from the top, we arrived at 11 AM for a 3 PM check-in and the front desk staff informed me that they would "put a rush" on preparing our room. We then proceeded to the Blue Bottle Coffee across the street and, lone and behold, were called 20 minutes later because the room was ready. Our street facing room...

SPDungo, We love accommodating our guests with early check ins whenever possible. I can understand the feeling of traveling and getting to your room early to chill out. Great location and easy access from Freeway. I was there on business and they had good facilities. Rooms were average, somewhat spartan but very up to date and well supplied. Easy acess to shopping and Bart and short walk to Union Square.

David M, Glad to hear that the Zetta was a good fit for you while in SF on business. Our rooms are modern and minimal but emphasize comfort while minimizing clutter. We tend to think that having a smartly furnished room leads to peace of mind and relaxation. Come back again! -Michel N General Manager

Stayed here for 4 nights which went rather quickly. Hotel reception staff were amazing. Hugely friendly and helpful all with a smile no matter what the request. Hotel room was nice and quiet well kept, clean and fresh. Bedding was a little too hard and the pillows could have been a little more firm. Great sized bathroom and well presented...

I stayed 3 nights for a business trip. Location was great, hotel staff was super helpful and friendly (more than I would expect- including an early check in on the house!). The room was very big, comfortable and had everything I needed. I would come back again next time!

Hotel Zetta is the perfect place for breakfast. The bar and breakfast rooms are the perfect space to relax and start your busy day. We had breakfast here twice during our stay and I can highly recommend the buttermilk pancakes with amaretto butter and my colleagues the breakfast sandwich. Effortlessly cool venue and a great team running the show.

This is a perfect boutique hotel in the heart of SF - the area is quite touristy and busy but Zetta is an oasis with a great bar and lounge area and a Blue Bottle across the street. I will stay here any time I am back in the city - for work or pleasure.

When I travel with my wife, we want to eat and drink, see the sights...but more than anything we want to feel welcomed; embraced by our surroundings. She calls it getting a "big hug" from the places we go. In this case, the hug began before we arrived and continued our entire stay. Quite simply, this hotel provided customer service...

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
