I stayed here for the 3rd time on Easter Weekend. Marty and Liza couldn't have been more helpful and kind. The entire staff was wonderful, they invited my friend to breakfast with us, upgraded my room, provided everything and anything a person could possibly ask for! I can not recommend this Inn highly enough - just don't go when I...

We had a great night and the staff were all super polite and made every effort for us. The hot tub was incredible, so was the complimentary Port and Sherry! Thank you!

I don’t know where to begin, there is so much to like about a stay here. Marty is just charming and so welcoming after a red-eye arrival in the city. The house is lovely, with such a San Francisco Victorian feel. The breakfast buffet is rightly acclaimed, so many delicious choices available. Everyone on the staff that we spoke to...

I have to say that I've traveled all over the world and this was the best B&B experience of my life. The breakfast spread alone was to drool for: egg quiche dishes (veggie and non-veggie), tropical fruits cut up in a decorative fashion, various muffins including my fav-bananut!, and you could eat it with fine silver and an extensive tea...

My wife and I come to San Francisco every few months, and always try to find somewhere unique to stay. Our search normally starts on AirBnB, but after no one replies back to messages about vacancies (what is it with that?), we turn to more traditional routes - and in this case I am certainly glad we did. The preservation...

It's a survivor of the 1906 San Francisco earthquake. This 1870's house still stands because the great fires stopped one block away. Walk through the mahogany front doors and enter the quiet, peaceful world of a wonderfully preserved Victorian home. The owner will share stories, while offering you a sip of sherry or port in the Parlor. There is always...

It was lovely to stay in such a beautiful and classic San Francisco building. We arrived early for our four night stay after a very early morning flight. We were able to check straight into our room and we were offered breakfast! Really positive first impression! We found all the staff really helpful with maps, transport information and a list...

You have to love old buildings if you want to stay here. Old buildings aren't perfect, they have an odor and they are creaky. But they are beautiful and a part of history that should be preserved and enjoyed. Pros- Light, healthy options breakfast with lots of fruit and you can fit it in your schedule. Marty the owner was...

From the moment we arrived at the Inn we were treated like family. We stayed in the garden cottage on a girls trip and it was so perfect for us. Everyone knew our names within minutes of our arrival, they had amazing recommendations for dinner, shopping etc. Leza and Kat were both awesome and we enjoyed chatting with Marty the...

Staying in Mission District

Neighbourhood Profile
Mission District
From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous street murals and a high density of bars and cafes make this neighbourhood a magnet for young people. While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the city’s best for fashionable diners. Indulge as the locals do by heading to Mission Dolores Park, buy some ice cream, and savor one of the most diverse neighbourhoods in the country.
