Had a very pleasant surprise in how much we enjoyed the Palace Hotel on our trip to San Francisco. We were greeted by a display of a huge bouquet of flowers in the lobby prior to walking into what must be one of the most...More
Retrospectively, I enjoyed my business stay in this hotel. Strategically located, the interior is plenty of charm, with luxurious and spacious (meeting & private) rooms.
Due to the size of the place, welcome is professional without being warm. One could even feel it a bit...More

Beautiful restored hotel in the heart of San Fran. We stayed 3 nights and the staff was very attentive to all of our requests. Gym and pool area were wonderful with having kids. Wonderfully decorated and the restaurant was amazing!
I stayed at the Palace for 5 nights in 2 rooms, so my wife and kids could explore San Francisco while I worked with colleagues at UC Berkeley. We all loved it. There is nothing like breakfast in the palm court, or just reading or...More
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized
streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
