The doorway was barely big enough to fit my inflatable banana through and the bed sheets smelt of aids. However, their was a kettle which meant eating at the hotel wasn't a problem. When asking a member of stuff if i could bring a guest in, i was met with a rude and abrupt no, which was strange considering they...

This place is walking distance from marketplace/Unionsquare. 7-10 minutes walk. I had booked 2 nights through Hotels.com feb 4-6 and allready paid in advance. I knew i couldnt check in before 3 pm, but went there anyway to see if i could leave my backpack around noon. Walked up O'Farrell street and a lot of homeless and beggars along the...

Inexpensive, small but adequate rooms, a room, a bed. shared bathroom in the Tenderloin. The Tenderloin is one of San Francisco's seedy neighborhoods. Lots of drug activity and prostitution. I know San Francisco well enough that I am not afraid of this area but I wouldn't recommend it to all.

As my title suggests, I beg anyone considering this "hotel" not to book. This in not a hotel- it can only be described as a crack den. I never complain, I generally just put up with things, but I really feel the need to tell you about this place. The photos online are not of this hotel- it has not...

Was quite scary to stay in this area. Alot of noise and really was not pleasant. The room was recently renovated but the fridge, TV and microwave were not plugged in or were not working yet. the one bathroom with a shower on the level was faulty and I was locked out and couldn't shower, had to use the other...

I spent two month in SF and both of these month I stayed in Sweden House hotel. The price was excellent, even being a student I could afford to stay here for such a long period of time. The room was nice and clean, it had microwave and refrigerator. Bed was comfy and I had enough storage space to keep...

The location of this hotel is simply perfect, the heart of the city, one block from Hilton, two blocks from city center and Union Square, walking distance from Down Town and shopping center. We never had problems finding a place to eat in the walking distance from where we were staying. By the way, I do recommend a Mexican place...

We got a horrible room with a small window, broken bed, nasty sink in the corner, paint falling from walls. Everything was old and smelled bad. I was also over-charged and had to contact hotel million times to ask for refund! This place ruined part of my experience of such a beautiful city!

I did not like my stay at the Sweden Hotel in downtown SF. First of all, it was hard for me to find the hotel. There were no signs outside the building. There was also a presence of drugs, I smelled it in my room. Outside the hotel, there is a huge presence of homelessness. A lot of drug addicts....
