This was my first trip to San Francisco. For the price I was afraid it would be kind of gross, but we didn't plan to spend much time in the room, so I went ahead and booked it. When we arrived, the desk clerk, Damon,...More

We stayed one night. Very comfortable room. Excellent facilities. Wonderful shower. Good location. Very noisy air conditioner and a bit of traffic noise as it is close to a major road, Wonderful old style lift. Comfortable bed. Very friendly and helpful receptionist.
Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the city and is home to amazing architecture and views. The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that
followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.

The Cable Cars are only 3 blocks away and there is a bus on the corner that will take you to the Wharf. No need to drive. Ghirardelli Square - the starting point of the Wharf - is only a 15 minute walk.
