I was sent to San Francisco for business. Bad area and unsafe for a family for sure. Only stayed one of the two nights I booked. There was no place open to eat. had to get food at a local store to eat. Very small room.
I enjoyed my stay at Yotel; it was lovely. My bathroom was huge, and the lighting was great. I loved that I could blackout the lighting in the room. And I liked the second-floor lobby. The staff was nice and this will probably my go to hotel with I visit SF.
We love the experience, clean, new, nice people. It was just me and my kid and we have a great time! The location was perfect, we could walk everywhere. The was room was not big but it was enough! And again, everything was so Clean…
Dirty and lots of unexplained charges. Friction where none was needed. Seems like a number of missed opportunities. Lack of communication. Cool concept terrible execution. Not at all what was described online in the third party booking site
Clean, cool room and property, good price. This Yotel was brand new and gleaming! We like the auto check in procedure but there was someone to help us if we needed it. The location was so so, at the end of Market street that can be a bit dicey. No problems for us and close to the BART for smooth trip back to SFO.
SOMA is tricky - very central, but not very salubrious. However, if you want to be in this area, Yotel is an attractive alternative - modern, clean, hip, well-designed though tiny rooms, and friendly, helpful staff.
We spend 4 nights in the Yotel Hotel. The community room was our favourite place. You can enjoy coffee for free and watch TV, work, make phone calls and there is also a snackmachine and microwave. The Yotel Hotel Team is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. It's very central, unfortunately there are houseless people close to the hotel, so you maybe feel uncomfortable, when you walk on the market street in the evening. But the Team in Yotel hotel is so nice, that you can enjoy your stay.
Had a bad experience with Michael at the front desk but was solved by Alex. The issue was related to vouchers that were not giving at check in. Thank you Alex for helping on solving this issue, in my opinion the front desk agent should have some training on how to handle these situations instead of not proposing a solution.
The hotel staff was very nice and helpful, especially Alex! Also the room was clean and very functional. Perhaps a little too small for two suitcases. The only minus point of the hotel is thar it lies in the middle of the homeless area, which is not really nice to walk around.
Love the modern ambient, just needed a place to sleep and spend the night, so it was perfect for staying one night and attend business event, its a little bit tiny but does the work well, sleep and prepare to go out again, clean and fresh
