Hotel is ok but I had a shocking experience at Concierge. After I had checked in one key was non functional asked it be corrected. Staff asked me to confirm my name which is standard which i confirmed. Then rather than ask for other identity markers, phone number email or mode of payment length of stay as hotels usually do. She asked for my passport (am non white). She said she had not 'personally checked me in' so she wanted to see it. Unbelievable standing there holding my room key . My advice if you are non white be ready.
Truly classic hotel that doesn't disappoint in any way. There is something special about Four Seasons service, regardless of where you are in the world, or what the context is - it always shines. Specific to my visit last week - * Restaurant service was impeccable, with friendly servers, timely service, and attention to detail (e.g. we had to be done with lunch in time for a 2pm meeting, and our waiter kept us right on track throughout the meal). * Housekeeping is still delivered daily (unlike many hotels), and my housekeeper left me a personal note thanking me for staying! Nice little Four Seasons touches too, like a branded eyeglass cleaning cloth left under each pair of glasses I left out, and a Four Seasons cable tie applied to my phone charger cable. Beyond the service, the property is in beautiful condition - room furniture was high-quality and unmarred, and extremely comfortable seating and bedding. Four Seasons is so clearly a cut above the usual hotel experience. It is the one property you can visit, and be assured of a top-notch experience.…
One of the best stays in the city. While it doesn’t come cheap the rooms were immaculate, clean and the most comfortable beds and pillows I’ve experienced in a while. The room was a spacious corner unit on a high floor. A premium king high floor. Ultra quiet. One thing that was a bit irritating was the closet light sensor kept turning the light off after less than a minute then back on when you move - it needs adjustment. The toilet design is a bit odd as it’s very narrow you have squeeze around the door to get in. But the bathroom was very large with a great shower and bath. The service at the front desk was friendly and helpful so was the doorman downstairs We tried the restaurant and again great service and good quality food. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend it…
The rooms at the Four Seasons on Market Street are modern and spacious. The sleeping experience in terms of pillows, linens, and duvet are what one expects across the entire chain. I have stayed here multiple times and I always look forward to returning.
With a glassy, towering exterior that portrays a sleek, modern architecture sits the Four Seasons San Francisco located a hop-skip-and-jump from Union Square and the SFMOMA as well as in close proximity to retail icons like Barney's, Macy's and the like. I relished my dreamy Deluxe room with sumptuous king bed surrounded by a blue palette and gold accents. A large desk was handy for my office chores. It faced the floor to ceiling windows which provided outstanding cityscape vistas. The room was outfitted with ample high-tech devices. The roomy bathroom had a separate shower and deep soaking tub. The oak-filled MKT Restaurant and Bar, with 180 degree views of downtown, served elegant California-inspired fare with fresh local ingredients for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I particularly liked the Grilled Octopus starter accompanied by the Wild King Salmon. The Nitro Expressotini was ideal to soup up my cocktail tastebuds. I enjoyed the complementary access to the Equinox Health Club (the Mercedes Benz of fitness clubs) with ana all encompassing suite of training gear including yoga, kick-boxing and spinning classes as well as an indoor pool and a full service spa. I tried the Body Scrub to destress and the treatment was a super relief. So. if you seek a hotel centerfold in the city......then try the........ It's what you want in a hotel. Location, room, restaurant and bar, and all staff were great. The concierge staff were incredibly helpful and the bar staff were great. The doormen were all incredibly attentive and helpful. You pay a bit more, but it's worth it to relax and have a flawless experience. The room was amble in size with a large bathroom. The bedding was great and the small table/desk worked well for room service breakfasts and for laptop work.
Had a great stay here at the hotel in San Fran. The location is prime in terms of situation. Def has amazing amenities and despite the one restaurant it does not hinder. The service in the hotel is on the mark!!! Rooms are exquisite and very spacious and comfy. Loved the stay!!
We enjoyed another wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is wonderful and all the staff are trained to be incredibly warm, professional and helpful. The breakfasts are incredible and we were attended to most mornings by Yuri that did everything he could to please us. The concerierge Barbara got us some fantastic dinner reservations that we were so lucky to get thanks to her great abilities and knowledge. The rooms themselves are spacious and so well appointed. We were even lucky enough to get a complimentary ride in the hotel car one night to our destination in Chinatown. This hotel reminds me of some of the greatest hotels in Europe back in the day when they really treated guests like they were special. The management and Four Seasons Corporate really have a spectacular property in this location!…
After much consideration we chose the Four Seasons as the place to stay for 3 nights around our wedding. We are so glad we did! Evelyn, Annie and the rest of the front desk staff went so far out of their way to make us feel special! Upgraded room, special touches and surprises, and just good old fashioned warmth, hospitality, and kindness! Plus the property is just gorgeous - right balance of modern and comfortable. We are so incredibly grateful and look forward to many more stays at The Four Seasons in the future!
Just finished a 4 night stay at the Four Seasons on Market Street in San Francisco. Superb staff, wonderful room, and stellar concierge staff. We were travelling with our granddaughter and were given adjoining rooms that shared the entry from the hallway. Staff could not have been more accommodating. Definitely our go to hotel in San Francisco.
