As other people have posted, yes, the rooms are small. But you're in an older building in a major metro area, so to be expected. No different than NYC, Rome, London, etc. The building is nicely decorated and clean. The location is perfect, close to...More

I needed a place to crash prior to an SF Superior court appearance, and this worked great. Breakfast included yogurt, granola, a few cereal options, fruit, and numerous pastries. Warning about the Internet: only a low bandwidth version is free, so budget another $10 per...More

A warm welcome at the first location during our road trip around California and Nevada. Very friendly and helpful staff, hotel that is full of character and history - elevator reminded us of the tower of terror. Decent sized, light and comfortable rooms with pretty...More

Chock full of designer boutiques, art galleries, funky
shoe stores, and great restaurants, it’s hard to
imagine Hayes Valley once languished in the shadow of
a major freeway. Its removal allowed for the creation
of an attractive boulevard on Octavia Street with a
community park at its center and dozens of trendy
businesses to satisfy visitors looking for a stylish
    respite.
