Very clean room, good for the price. Friendly staff I'll go back again. The pastries for breakfast very good. We were walking to the presidio and the fine art museum actually the best restaurants are located down the street. Really good.

We stayed at the Inn over Christmas. On the first night our new car was broken into and our large suitcase and duffle bags with shoes were stolen. We were parked less than 10 feet from our room, next to the manager's office. Our computers and smaller suitcases were inside the room. We were told that the security cameras were...

Good place to stay in Sanfo. Close to almost every touristy place. Front staff can work on becoming more accommodating, more friendly attitude. The girl talked like a robot without eye contact..felt like we weren't welcome :(. But overall good place to stay for short visits!

My daughter and I stayed here for 5 nights in early November on our way home to Australia after a fantastic experience running the New York Marathon. Having read many reviews of other similarly priced motels in the area we were quite concerned with what to expect at the Inn at Golden Gate. To say we were surprised was an...

I've stayed at many small and boutique motels in SF, and this was one of my favorites. I was pleased with how quiet it was, but so well located to Presidio, Chestnut Street shops and frequent bus routes. No real street noise, which is a plus being so close to Lombard. Staff was great, and one of the most comfortable...

This is not a luxury motel, but it is clean, quiet, and conveniently located. Free coffee and rolls 7-9am. Nice neighborhood bar nearby. Could use a comfy chair and ottoman and extra bedding. I would stay here again.

This motel is in a good location because it's on a bus route, it is very near to the Golden Gate Bridge and it's beside Chestnut Street where there are nice restaurants and some activity. However it is far too expensive. We stayed here in September 2016 and paid about $180 per night. Breakfast is included but all you get...

We've stayed here 4 times in the past 20 years. We love the Marina District. The motel is on a bus route. It's close to Chestnut St which has tonnes of good restaurants. It's very basic but cheap and clean. Staff are quite friendly and helpful. We'll be staying here next time too.

The room was Perfect for mine and my BF three day getaway. The area was perfect, and the room looked like it had recently been remodeled and it was clean. My boyfriend and I were actually shocked, in a good way (: and the refrigerator really came in handy. The free parking was also a plus. I would definitely stay...

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
