The Metro Hotel had everything we needed - a comfortable bed and en suite bathroom. Perfect location, close to great restaurants, easy to venture out and explore San Francisco. The room was small and the shower was small but we weren't looking for a hotel...More

Thank you for the wonderful review and spending your special birthday in San Francisco at The Metro Hotel. The bed in room 101 is actually a queen but we love that you thought it was so big.

This is a gem of a place to stay. Nicely located with affordable prices. The bed was fantastic, very comfortable with a nice assortment of pillows to choose from. The front desk was great, helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay here again.

The area surrounding the intersection of Haight and
Ashbury streets, “The Haight” still exudes vibes of
the 1960s counterculture as a haven for vintage

While the Summer of Love ended decades ago,
Haight-Ashbury has turned into a melting pot of

The hotel web site usually has the hat info. The staff would also be agreeable to let you know. My room was in the front and the thick windows kept street noise low. No complaints.
