Stayed at the Metro Hotel when needing a place to sleep after a night at a nearby music venue. The Metro was perfect. The room was small but very clean and had everything we needed for a good nights sleep. We didn't have a view...More

We had an overnight stay at the Metro and were very impressed with the updated comfortable room. Everything was super clean and you can't beat the price. Even though our room was in front over the street and a bit noisy (hey it's the city)...More

Our room was on the smaller side but it served the purpose of having a place to stay in San Francisco that is near public transportation and very affordable. We bought a multi-day MUNI pass and going around was a breeze. The Metro Hotel is...More

The area surrounding the intersection of Haight and
Ashbury streets, “The Haight” still exudes vibes of
the 1960s counterculture as a haven for vintage
clothes, music, pop posters and body piercing shops.
While the Summer of Love ended decades ago,
Haight-Ashbury has turned into a melting pot of
hippies, hipsters, and professionals. Walking through
its streets can still feel like stepping back in time.
