Despite rebranding from Westin to "Park Central" this still doesn't even feel like a very good Westin. First the good: Rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is reasonably friendly, barring the bar / restaurant (see below). The location is fantastic, and if you don't have a car you really can't do better in SF. If you can get...

Hi iocat, Thank you for sharing your experience with us and highlighting the stunning views from an array of our rooms on the upper floors. We also appreciate you bringing your less than stellar bar experience to light - I've alerted our restaurant management team to address. Yes, we are in a very central location, which is very convenient to...

I like this hotel. I get to San Francisco on business two or three times a month and have stayed in a number of different hotels in the general area. This hotel is getting to be my favorite because of the combination of location, price, hotel amenities and attentiveness of the staff. I have found the rooms to be clean,...

Hi Mutinousdog, It's always wonderful to hear when a guest stays with us frequently due to the convenience location and overall pleasant stay experiences. These are the things we continuously strive toward as we want The Park Central Hotel San Francisco to be your home away from home. The open lounge concept, part of our MaSo restaurant and outlets experience,...

We spent the first two nights of our honeymoon at this hotel. After we were upgraded (suite nights), they sent up a bottle of champagne to help us celebrate, which was so nice and unexpected! The concierge recommended a fun local pub for us to visit on our first night. Location is probably better for business, but it was still...

Congrats on getting hitched, Jessica! It's great to hear that the staff was able to make your celebration memorial with the room upgrade and amenities. Yes, we are just on the cusp of the financial district, but our South of Market location is central and just walking distance to the premier San Francisco shopping destinations, union square and all key...

I got to stay in Park Central Hotel for three nights. The view was beautiful. Two huge windows from floor to ceiling in two directions. I spend hours to just stare the city by night and day. The only thing that made my stay lame was the lack of service. I asked three times the guest services to guide me...

Hi There Patrick, The views from many of the rooms on the upper levels of the hotel are quite mesmerizing, and we're glad you enjoyed them. I'm sorry to hear that your service requests were not address in a timely fashion. I have alerted our guest services and operations management teams. Thanks for the feedback!

Can't beat the location for proximity to things - BART, China town, Chinese New Year's parade route, union square, embarcadero. But be aware that this area-- where a lot of big name hotels are-- has lots of homeless. Most are harmless but a few are hallucinating and may be angry. Hotel has nice rooms with great views. Lucky to get...

新年快樂 Cori P, The Chinese New Year celebration was quite the spectacle this year. With our central location, you were steps away from the festivities this past weekend. We are happy you enjoyed your time and enjoyed the views at The Park Central San Francisco!

Beautiful modern rooms, perfect location close to everything (and there is a Pete's coffee stand right across from the hotel), beautiful views (if you can get a higher level room), great service, and great price.

Our family of 4 stayed here 1 night on a quick road trip up from LA. We usually stay at the Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf, but it was full. We booked this through our Starwood Membership and am happy to report that, despite not being a Westin, it is indeed affiliated with Starwood, and even has the SPG check-in. it does...

Hello There GCom! I know you originally planned to stay on The Wharf, but it's great to know you tried us for the 1st time and enjoyed your stay. I used this hotel while we were doing a house hunting trip in the City. The location is great, close to everything. Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
