The rooms are very clean, well designed and comfortable, even if just a slight bit small. The bath is lovely with good water pressure in the shower, which is a huge plus in my book. We were there overt he New Year holiday & had a wonderful time! The location couldn't be

We stayed in a Mono King on the 6th floor that was close to the interior stairwell. We had no outdoor noise and it was extremely quiet all weekend. I had expected a slightly larger room but perhaps we got one of the Mono rooms that are on the smaller size (typical old building

No - it’s near the Powell cable car and BART stations. You can catch a rapid bus to Golden Gate Park within a block of this hotel.

You can request a rollaway bed to be placed in your room when you get there. They were able to do this for me when I stayed in one of their king bedrooms. Hope this helps :)

What the price for the BART? Can we buy daily/weekly passes?
You can buy a return from Francisco International Airport to Powell Street for $16. A weekly pass on the Muni covers the street cars, cable cars and trams for $42 and runs from approx 06 until midnight. There is a kiosk outside Powell Street Bart Station to buy this. It is great value and gives great coverage of the city whereas the BART goes further afield and is more expensive
