This is a great place for location, service and value. Short walk to Chinatown, Union Square, and the waterfront. Excellent choice. I would definitely come back. And the beds and pillows were the most comforatbake I have ever had at a hotel

we stayed 4 nights in a king premier with city view room; it was really beautiful. The room was in classic style, clean and very big; it has a king size comfortable bed, big lcd tv, wi-fi, etc. Also the bathroom was big but classic with bathtube. We booked from italy this hotel 8 months in advance and the price...

Room was very clean. Location is very good, you can reach cable cars easily. We had one problem and that was even if tell personnel couple of times that we needed a taxi at 4:30 pm, not am, we were waken up at 4:30 am saying taxi was ready.

The Stanford Court has very comfortable rooms, is centrally located in a great neighborhood and comes at a reasonable price. The fitness center is the perfect size, so much better than those tiny rooms at most hotels. The rooms are comfortable, very clean, just what I need for my business travel. Everyone on staff is helpful and friendly.

Expedia quoted a price of $278.10 and the actual cost was $346.63. The additional charges include Occupancy Tax, Business Tourism Assessment, CA Tourism Assessment which are standard fees for Hotels in San Francisco. But charging an additional $20.00 for an Urban Bundle Fee and $2.80 for an Urban Bundle Tax is going too far. There are no special amenities at...

Access to many restaurants within walking distance. Freeway is not too far from the hotel. The mall, sightseeing and my business meeting was very close by. Very convenient to stay here for business due to breakfast buffet and coffee/tea available during the morning hours. Gym was a nice size too.

I stayed as a single female traveler. Loved the location on Nob Hill. I was able to avoid the chaos of Union Square and Market St, while enjoying easy walks through Chinatown, to Ferry Building, and to Telegraph Hill. Next time I hope to use one of the bikes to explore Golden Gate Park and ride across the bridge. Very...

Absolutely nothing but a great experience. Checked in very quickly at 2pm. Breakfast was a little expensive at $28,so I opted to eat at a bakery nearby. The restroom has heated towel bars so...

The hotel location is great. The rooms facing the streets are very noisy. The bathroom needs some better cleaning. The service was good. The staff was helpful. The location is good only few blocks from the union square.

Staying in Nob Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Nob Hill
Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the city and is home to amazing architecture and views. The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.
