First time staying at this hotel and I was impressed. I will stay here again. Very convenient to restaurants and stores. Beds were nice and soft. They gave you choices in pillows if you wanted something different and loved the towel warmer. It was a pleasant stay.

What an easy, relaxing place to stay. The staff was friendly, approachable, and happily answered questions and/or fulfilled requests. The location is convenient. The rooms are a good size and the internet is fast.

We loved our spacious room. The outdoor arrival area for those driving had a beautiful fountain. The lobby was big with lots of chairs with pillows tastefully advertising important San Francisco sights, making it friendly-elegant. If most of your time is going to be spent around Union Square, Stanford Court is a little out of the way for walkers (steep...

The room was small, and there was really nothing that stood out about the hotel. It was just ok. The best thing was the location. The Stanford was very convenient to where our meetings were held. I'd probably try another hotel if I am ever in San Francisco again.

We had such a nice stay at the stanford court. Our suite was large, clean and comfortable! The hotel was located in an accessible place and we would stay here again! We particularly liked the large lobby and were able to enjoy the amenities while waiting for our delayed flight.

Hotel was absolutely wonderful! The food there was really good but no room service, had to go all the way down to lobby order and wait (the wait wasn't to long though). As well I had to go all the way down to 1st floor to get ice. Overall the hotel was really nice and the staff was really cool,...

I was overall happy with the hotel stay here. I would recommend this place. I wish the dining was better. More options might have attracted me to eat here in the hotel after a long day at the conference,

Booked into the Stanford to attend a conference close by and see the city. Excellent amenities and close proximity to the touristy place, great food and easy access to transportation. Hotel and staff were amazing and we really liked the boutique feel of the hotel. We felt special and that we were important to the staff. Will be staying again...

Staying in Nob Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Nob Hill
Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the city and is home to amazing architecture and views. The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.
