Elevator inspection according to the sign in the elevator was performed 2012 and valid to 2013. Means that stairs to 4:th floot was used frequently. Power outlet in room was broken and open to cables. All in safety was not number one. Will I stay at Embassy the next time I visit SF? Don't think so.

This is a no frills hotel . Good clean spacious rooms with en suite bathrooms . good location . friendly staff . all at a very reasonable price compare to the crazy expensive prices most san Francisco hotels charge . This hotel was ideal for us.12 guys on a golf and sight seeing holiday . The owners of the hotel...

The “Embassy” hotel..... a bad experience · Cheking-In: On arrivel, the hotel reception assign us a room that has soon as we open the door we notice that the room had a common door with a room next door (that we did not ask for and we were not informed about) and also a tremendous smell at Tabaco smoke, (which...

I called the hotel and they said that it was in a good area but come to find out its one street away from a very bad area. We arrived and the water pressure didn't exist- when you put the water on hot it barely trickled out but when you would turn it on cold it would come out better...

Let's be real, San Fran Hotels are EXPENSIVE, so finding this little gem at was a miracle. We were out all day, so we just wanted a place that was relatively clean where we could keep our stuff during the day and sleep at night and wasn't a hostel. For that, the Embassy was perfect. If you are looking for...

We were glad we booked this hotel, as it seemed to be one of the best in the area in this price range. Very affordable, yet clean and safe. Although in the old building, the room was nice and in good condition. Good size beds, nice old furniture, great lighting in the bathroom. The were a few downsides, which however...

We booked through a travel agent as one of many stays across our USA trip. All were good except this one. Negatives: Arrived and checked in only to be sent away to motel 2 blocks away due to rooms that had apparently flooded. Staff member was matter of fact, not apologetic, and told us it was only 2 blocks!!! Walk...

This is a nice Hotel, located in the middle of downtown SF. The place a older so it doesn't have A/C but it doesn't usually get hot enough that you can't open a window & get a little city breeze in. There is an amazing French Soul Food place on the same street that is delicious for any meal you...

In downtown San Francisco, with plenty restaurants and shops within walking distance. Itțs an older building, with older, art deco era furniture. I donțt consider that as a negative thing...we liked it. Itțs reminescent of an era. Maybe a little bit heavier smell because of the old uilding, older furniture, many years of use, but it doesnțt steal any of...

If you're looking for a nice place to stay to explore the city and not break the bank, this is a great hotel. Stayed two nights on our honeymoon. Nice, charming, historic hotel. We didn't want to spend a lot of money on a nice place to stay when we'd be out and about exploring the city. The area is...
