Recently stayed at my favorite hotel the Nikko- San Francisco but found out the "Website Exclusive w/free internet" produced an insulting situation. The Nikko is fabulous and I have stayed there many times on business but only learned this weekend that they have sub standard options. To be fair, I already knew they price options out, so internet is additional,...

Dear Carl H. This review stings, but it also helps us to improve our operation so I must say thank you! It is not our intention to make any guest feel less than another. We dropped the ball by not offering you a glass of wine when you checked in. The deluxe rooms do have robes as a standard. Robes...

I was looking for hotels in SF and mostly all of them were over my budget. I found a deal for Hotel Nikko on Hotels.com and read other good reviews on here too. I loved everything about this hotel. Room was clean, modern, check out was quick, city views from my room were amazing and I couldn't have asked for...

First time at the Nikko and we fell in love with it. Wasn't sure what to expect and was truly pleasantly surprised. Rooms are fresh, clean and airy. Great location just off Union Square (but away from the chaos) and easily walkable to lots of sights. Didn't get a chance to try the restaurant, but it looked wonderful. Have stayed...

Used it as a staging point before driving to the Redwoods. Very convenient. Stylish, clean and comfortable. The pillows were on the stiff side. I was on the lower 6th floor and had no problem with street noise. You could argue that the hotel is a bit dated but it makes a good impression. Extraordinarily well-designed bathroom, no ceiling ventilation...

We've never had a bad experience at the Nikko. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly and tactful. We had dinner at their restaurant (Anzu), and our expectations were exceeded. We were asked if it was a special occasion (it was), and they comped us cocktails, brought us sparkling wine and a pair of wonderful marinated oysters on the half shell...

Great room; wonderful health club, pool, jacuzzi, shiatsu - too many extra charges. If you are a 4 or 5 stry hotel, charge the rate and deliver the amenities. In this hotel there are so many reasons for it to be a four star, but they hover on the "nickel and dime" edge. Examples: $20 to use the health club...

Enjoyed this stay so much, especially since we moved from another property that we weren't satisfied with. The Nikko staff are so helpful and serviceminded, the rooms are large, clean and quiet - and the location is very good, although on the brink of a fairly average part of town if you walk in the direction away from Union Square!...
