My fiance and I were visiting San Francisco for his 30th birthday and our experience at this hotel made the trip so much better. At check-in, we were greeted by Theo who read us our astrology signs and the significance of our birthdays from a giant book behind the desk. He

Friendly boutique hotel with proximity to everything SF. Mattresses were a little too hard for my taste. Front desk staff was engaging and very helpful for directions and suggestions. Neighborhood is very close to the underbelly of the SF, but there are great eating options in

The staff is friendly and engaging. The rooms are quaint and clean. It’s an older building so others guests falling into their rooms at 3am with no regard for others is a possibility (and in my case a reality). But on a positive note if you yell at them they’ll hear you! With

We could keep this short: this was the best place I stayed in in SF so far! Entering the lobby, you already are greeted with a great atmosphere. Theo at the front desk always greeted with a smile and was quick with recommendations for dinner or answering any other question I

we had a great stay at this hotel. Hotel with a lot of charm, comfortable and in the center of all neighborhoods to visit. A special thanks to Theo who welcomed us and helped us on various needs. Thank you for your kindness and your efficiency, Théo.

Kokkari — we celebrated our anniversary here with a wonderful meal. The restaurant has fine Mediterranean food in a beautiful setting. Service is superb.

Hi we had a huge ceiling fan in our room it was very efficient and quiet. There was a tub with a shower over it. There are bus stops just round the corner. Trolley buses close by and tram car was at union square 5 mins walk away. It very hilly but you can easily walk everywhere. We got the bus to the golden gate bridge and walked across. Hope that helps

Hi, what is the best way of getting from the airport to the hotel? Thank you
So we used the bart from Oakland - pretty easy. To get from San Fran it’s also the bart and then a short walk to the hotel. Sorry I can’t be more specific but I’m not a great navigator. I just remember the whole process taking around 25mins including walk and train.
