My fiancee and I were on vacation and wanted to stay near the beach. We knew the price would be a little high being SF and the beach but that was the only expected aspect to the stay that was expected. When we booked online...More

This is a very hard place to rate. It is in SF which apparently means everything is very expensive, including this hotel. For SF it is reasonable. It is at the beach, at the end of a tram/metro line which is a cheap and convenient...More

The L-Taraval (one block from Days Inn) will take you all the way to the Embarcadero Station. You will then walk 3 minutes to Market and Main where you can board the F line (toward Jones and Beach Sts). You'll disembark at the Embarcadero-Sansome stop where you can then take a scenic five minute walk to Pier 33. Depending upon the time of day, total travel should take a little over an hour. Tip: Always get a transfer ticket even if you think you may not use it. It's valid for 90 minutes of travel in the same direction (except on the cable cars). With a mobile app I think you’ll find the SFMTA (the Muni system plus cable cars and trolleys) quite user-friendly. Enjoy the various views of The City.
