I was a bit nervous about our stay in this hotel during our trip to San Francisco, after reading some of the comments here, but the price was tempting for San Francisco. Well, I do not have any regrets about our choice. We arrived early...More
We booked this hotel because it was reasonably priced for a hotel in San Francisco. We found out the hard way the reason why. Do NOT stay here if you expect an elevator to take you to a floor above the ground; do NOT stay...More
Pros: The remodeled rooms have nicer bathrooms and a pretty good king bed. There's also a table and chairs, useful if you eat in or have a computer. And there's free parking in an underground garage, with lots of open spaces even though there were...More

The L-Taraval (one block from Days Inn) will take you all the way to the Embarcadero Station. You will then walk 3 minutes to Market and Main where you can board the F line (toward Jones and Beach Sts). You'll disembark at the Embarcadero-Sansome stop where you can then take a scenic five minute walk to Pier 33. Depending upon the time of day, total travel should take a little over an hour. Tip: Always get a transfer ticket even if you think you may not use it. It's valid for 90 minutes of travel in the same direction (except on the cable cars). With a mobile app I think you’ll find the SFMTA (the Muni system plus cable cars and trolleys) quite user-friendly. Enjoy the various views of The City.
