Comfortable hotel. Big rooms, 2 beds and we asked for a small single bed as we had 3 kids. All was accomodated in one room (family of 5). Safe even though the neigbourhood is a bit dodgy. Lots of homeless people and beggars. Good option for a budget in peak season downtown, if you don't mind the area south of...

Older Motel 6, clean however a little less well maintained compared to other locations. Rooms a good. Price is fairly low compared to similar downtown locations, maybe due to the the Tenderloin area being more rough than charming.

Planned a visit to San Francisco for the first time but surprisingly the most stressful part about the trip is choosing a hotel! I searched for about a month, everything was either too high or so bad (according to reviews). I stumbled upon this Motel 6 as it was the closest to most of the areas we will be visiting....

My son and I went to San Francisco for his friends wedding. I shopped around and found the Motel 6 to be the most reasonable and come to find out they do not charge for parking to where other hotels charge at least $50.00 a night. They may not be in the best area of town, right next to the...

Great location! Walking distance to just about everything. Clean room/bathroom...comfortable beds (Thanks for the extra pillows!) Staff super friendly and helpful! Provided us a map and sent us on our way!! Another A+ is the free, onsite parking! Made our trip MUCH easier! Would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is clean and the rooms are recently renovated. This Motel 6 is a good value in San Francisco. It has comfortable beds, the shower has good pressure and it is clean. It can be a little loud, but you are in the city, so no big deal. Parking is free, which is a $60 or so savings right...

Good basic clean hotel, good sized rooms with a fridge, The downside is it's a long way from the touristy things ie fisherman wharf, and the bridge but a no. 19 bus takes you there, and cost $1.25 The area where the hotel is, is a bit run down but the hotel has good security Also it has good parking, a...

Being this was our first trip to SF we really did not know what to expect as our friends who accompanied us made all the reservations. Driving to the Motel we were getting a little uneasy as there was a lot of homeless/inebriated people in the streets. We had nothing to worry about as they were not around the Motel....

I was skeptical about the quality of the hotel at first because the reviews are mixed, but I had absolutely nothing bad to say about my stay. Clean, modern, definitely a bit noisy at night, but the actual stay was fine. The elevators are reallyyyy slow so keep that in mind. I would stay here again, no question.

It is located at the Northwest corner of Geary Street and Larkin Street, but you must approach the entrance from Larkin (a one-way street). Parking is under the hotel, but there are limited parking spaces. When you check in, then is a sign advising you so! I left my car there and used the bus service during my stay. Check-in...
