Good place for short stay in SFO - great location in Downtown, nice view from the upper floors, unfortunately for an additional fee, good service, tasty breakfast. Additional aspect - very interesting art installations in the lobby.
Had a great stay and the hotel is beautiful! Front desk was extremely friendly and helpful! We enjoyed the club lounge as I am a Globalist. Our room was beautiful and spacious with a gorgeous view of the City! I will stay here again!
Stayed here many times and try to avoid these days. Better Hyatt properties in SFO but they book out. Shows age, food options very limited, door staff are beyond useless . Gone are the glory days for this place
A short walk from China Town and close to central square where there are a multitude of designer branded shops and some great local restaurants. Access to all the tourist sites was very easy on local buses which were a cost effective option to get around.
i really like the hotel it so modern and it gives me that luxury vibe because if the wood styles in there restaurant and rooms! i cannot forget the BALMAIN supply every day. it was really amazing and perfect
It seem that there is nothing but issues when we stay at hotels but this trip was fabulous! The staff were friendly, helpful, compassionate, and very kind. The rooms were very clean and quiet. The hotel and staff made us feel welcome and special. We had zero issues with our stay, which has not been our usual experience! Thank you Grand Hyatt SF!
Stay on Jan 1 - 4, 2023 on 20th floor with room view towards Union Square with the ice rink and all the lights. On point !! Coffee machine provided in the room. Room is big with two queen comfortable beds. Balmain amenities are nice, just like the other Grand Hyatt I've stayed. Location is superb with restaurants nearby, my fav is King Thai Noodles House and Sutter Street Cafe ( go find this hidden gem and thank me later ) and many convinient stores around you. Valet parking fee quite high, so directly go find self parking garage which is many options around, just 1 or 2 blocks away and safe. Make sure don't leave ANYTHING in your car. Will definitely recommend and come back again.
While in San Francisco, the Grand Hyatt is out go-to hotel. From the moment we arrived at valet, we were welcomed and treated as a valuable guest. Front desk staff was helpful and efficient. We love the Grand Hyatt for so many reasons....staff, cleanliness, modern fixtures and great location.
Overall, this is a typical Grand Hyatt experience. The room is comfortable/spacious and gym has a nice view and equipment, albeit very small considering the size of the hotel. With that said, I wouldn’t visit this hotel on vacation as there aren’t very many amenities beyond the gym. I also will not stay here on business any longer, after this week. I’m here for a conference, staying at the hotel, and they don’t have much of any space for guests to work at beyond a 150-200 sq ft business center (again much smaller than it should be for the size of this hotel). All other “lounge” space has an additional price tag. This space should be free for hotel guests to use, during their stay.
Very nice Hyatt in close proximity to BART/Muni rail, busses, and cable car. Hotel staff is courteous and helpful, the higher floor room views can't be beat! Room was spacious, thought the closet was a bit cramped. Would definitely stay here again.
