Enjoyed our stay! Location was amazing! Not sure what all the fuss is about with the negative reviews. Sure there are homeless in SF…chill out! Enjoy the city, the hotel, your life…without making a fuss about everything. Great stay & happy to be a Hilton Diamond member

Hotel's Favourite
Since Covid started about a year ago, hotel rates have been incredibly low. This is our go to hotel where we stay once a month to relax and unwind. It is five blocks from the Embarcadero, one block from Chinatown, and three blocks from North Beach. Walk 10 minutes south and you’re in Union Square. What I love about staying in the financial district is that it’s not super crowded and touristy like Union Square, yet you can get more for your money than staying in the more popular locations. If you like to get out and walk and explore, this is the most central location to hit most of the spots you would really want to cover during a weekend in the City. The hotel has pivoted well to the pandemic. Safe practices posed and enforced. Use your Hilton app and check in and out online. Highly recommend the premium floor, bay view rooms. Well worth it! A huge shout out to Michael Kober who identified a fabulous room when we arrived a half hour before check in and ours was not ready. Michael was a rock star!!!!

WE stayed for a weekend in October. The room was nice and had good views. The hotel has no breakfast at this time (even for Hilton Diamond members) an little goodies like free water was not offered. Executive lounge was closed. We had an issue with neighbors who decided to have a party of 4AM. I know the floor we were on was at least half empty - perhaps hotel can explain why they cannot put guests every other room to avoid noise complaints. Plus our room had locked door between us and the neighbors, and all noises usually come through that opening. Why can't some insulation be placed between these doors? Anyway, we called the front desk, security was sent up in few minutes and resolved the issue. I would stay here again because of good location but I wish for more amenities in the future.

The room had one of the best views I've ever seen, as we got a Bayview facing high floor. I love the location, because Union Square is a disaster and this is walking distance to the ferry area, Chinatown, and the Fishermans wharf which is more of what I'm interested in when visiting the city, but it is also a short walk to Union Square if you want to go there. For these reasons I'll probably return. However, being a diamond member for several years and staying 100 nights at Hiltons per year (before covid) the staff was among the worst I've ever experienced at a Hilton. I have stayed at Hiltons multiple times since covid and know about the new dining credit. However, there is LITERALLY NO FOOD AVAILABLE for breakfast other than a jimmy dean microwaved sausage sandwich. The guy at the front desk asked me upon checkout why i didn't use my credit and I told them there wasn't anything for me to eat. I got an eye roll and with a big attitude he offered to switch me to the 1000 points. I asked when the restaurant would be open, and the response was something along the lines of "How should I know?" The lady who checked me in was also rude, didn't smile, or greet me in any way or acknowledge my diamond status but instead babbled on about showing my vaccine card to use the gym or pool (not a problem as I am vaccinated) Look, I get it, all hotels are taking advantage and closing restaurants (and cancelling housekeeping, and other amenities) due to covid, and I understand the front desk has to hear all the complaints- BUT as a customer, don't take your gripes with your job out on us, especially since I am an experienced traveler and am patient and aware of all these unfortunate changes. If the staff were a little less combative and nicer I would have given this hotel 5 stars. Hopefully management can work on some training and the next time I come back it will be a 5 star review :)

When I called in my reservation I was not warned of parking fees at all. Was charged first and then told about them after they ran my car. Pretty much all amenities was closed at the time of my stay according to my check in host.
