Tamela Taylor offered us personal and exceptional customer service! She went out of her way to assure we had a fabulous time - found us the best room ! Thank you, Hilton for hiring such a special Front Desk Employee! We will look for her when we return!

The rooms are upscale and based on where you stay, you have nice views of Chinatown or San Francisco Bay area. Parking isn't cheap (self parking with in and out services was $ 45/night.) But that's expected for any area of San Francisco. Enjoyed the fact that it was close to Chinatown and we were also able to walk to...

We stayed there for my Birthday and were upgraded to one of the Presidential Suites. Every staff member that we dealt with was very helpful and polite. The room was clean and well outfitted. Our view of the bay was so stunning that we cancelled our dinner reservations and dined on room service. The valet parking is well worth the...

I travel to SF a lot, and prefer to stay here. It's located near most downtown commerce, in Chinatown for good food options, and they're rooms are set-up well to get work done with plenty of desk space and places to plug in your devices.

Just spent a few nights in San Francisco and enjoyed this location. It's about halfway between Market Street and Coit Tower, and an easy walk to North Beach bars, etc. If you like Chinese food, it's a few blocks from the House on Nan King which is a good place to get reasonably priced food. The room was comfortable, but...

I’m a heavy business traveller, mostly staying with SPG brands, but occasionally end up at Hiltons (therefore only HHonors silver status and when I stay at Hilton for business I mostly upgrade to exec rooms). Right now I’m on a business trip close to SF next week and arrived a bit earlier to SF for vacation. Stayed at Sheraton Fish,...

Dear Samuru J, Thank you for detailing your experience with us. I first want to apologize about your initial check-in experience and that other guests were being given room keys while you were asked to wait. We do not have a policy that Priceline or other 3rd party bookings are to be denied early check-in if available, and clearly we...

We were looking for the China town and Fisherman Wharf experience. China town was no more than a five minute walk, a lot of international cuisine within walking distance. Fisherman Wharf was within walking distance as well. But I would recommend taking the taxi to get a gauge of where you have to go and the distance. But if you...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a mini-vacation. We had chosen it partially based on price and part on location. We planned to walk a lot and this hotel is very convenient to Chinatown, North Beach, Little Italy and the Ferry Building where you can take the Trolley down to Fisherman's Wharf. We had put in for...

Stayed her Sept. 23-26 for work and pleasure. This hotel is very well appointed starting with the gorgeous Asian statues and artwork in front of the hotel and in the lobby, to the rooms themselves. Staying in Financial District

Neighbourhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
