If you want charm, this is the place. The staff is friendly and ready to help. The rooms are small but comfortable, there was a full sized bathtub, a bay window, complimentary bathrobes. The noise from the street wasn't bad but you do hear it. They supply earplugs and if you can sleep with the TV or radio on you're...

I booked this hotel online and the website I booked through suggested we contact the hotel directly to request a bed type. And I did. I spoke to someone at the Mosser reservations desk and she told me they did not have king beds at this hotel as I requested, but assured me I had already been assigned a Queen...

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it’s apparent in this case that we fell short. I have discussed the issue with our Front...

It was a very cute room, even though it was shared bathrooms, my private room had a sink which was very convenient. Never had to wait for the bathroom or shower. Perfect size and comfort and all the basic amenities. Very nice staff.

Good location, from which big walkers can get everywhere in main San Francisco. Light walkees will need metro/uber/cable car. The hotel is well maintained and clean but the layout and design leaves much to be desired. We stayed in a room with shared bathroom facilities. There are insufficient bathroom facilities - 2 showers per floor of more than 20 rooms...

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We have around 5-7 economical rooms per floor that shares 2 shower rooms and one toilet for men and one for women. These facilities are easy access or a few steps away from the economical rooms. We have custom-designed furnishing for ingenious space efficiency. Our rooms maybe be...

I have been travelling around the world and this is one of the cleanest hotel I ever seen. We shared shower and toilet and every time we went there, it was clean. The location is perfect, the stuff serviceminded and friendly. In the morning we have access to coffee, thé and muffin for free. We will be back and we...

Great location in the heart of SanFrancisco. Only two towels provided in the room. No coffee or tea making facilities or fridge in room. No drinking water in room. Staff happily moved us as cigarette smell from other room was intolerable. Also wouldn't accept cash passport debit card for room security payment. Very clean.

The mosser hotel is right in the middle of the shopping area where you can walk to everywhere from the hotel. Their rooms are TINY but but very CLEAN. I stay here because of the location and also because of the room rates are very low compare to the other hotels around the same area. I would not recommend this...

I stayed here for a work conference and the room had everything I needed plus the hotel has a cozy vintage feel. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. I booked the room many months ahead of time and was able to take advantage of at 25% off two nights or more deal. This hotel is right across the...

What a gem, the Mosser is. And at such an affordable rate in Union Square, close to everything! You can have shared bathrooms which further makes it reasonable. The common rooms are clean, no matter what time of the day. The staff are warm and helpful. The Friday wine     -tasting is an absolute delight.

I stayed in a queen room with a shared bathroom, which wasn't a problem since I never ran into anyone on my floor. However, I can certainly HEAR my neighbors, even when they're speaking softly. Additionally, the doors don't have a soft-close mechanism so when guests enter/exit, sometimes the doors slam behind them. That said, you can't beat the location....

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
